Beautiful...

Last night, my divine beloved appeared in my dream.

First as a cat (I didn't pay attention).

Then as a beautiful gray/white wolf (I started to pay attention).

Then as an amazingly beautiful white horse. I finally paid attention.

I hold him and he is happy. He feels so infinitely precious.
I comfort him, I comfort myself because of the sadness.

Sadness because I still have a hard time understanding how he can love me. He is too beautiful to love me.

He takes my sadness and I comfort him because I can't comfort myself. I feel peace because he is so happy that I hold him. I feel such happiness from him. I don't understand but it doesn't matter.

He loves the fact that I recognize him now even when he turns up in unexpected forms.

Anyone else have any experience with animals?

Yes, I have had experience with animals, my unconscious/DB has several times shown up as a dragon, red and fiery and very feminine, and sometimes size of a skyscraper!  She showed me where her eggs and hidden treasure lies. Takes a lot of love and trust for a dragon to show anyone that!  Unless she plans to eat me up, which she can if she wants to.

I've had a lot of experience with various forms of snakes and serpents.. I guess I like them. When I was in the demo scene everybody had handles/nickname, I used "Lizardking", it felt right. Although some things may represent something else, hard to tell!  I've had a dream where I danced with a red and blue serpent in a pool of water. Probably Ida & Pingala. They were quite loving though, and very happy to be in the dance.

My cat sometimes shows up in dreams, although not as the DB. Lurk likes to show me in dreams where my walls and doors are.

Doesn't surprise me at all that your DB shows up in animal forms, you are one of the biggest animal lovers I know of. A white horse, kinda feels like something out of the Neverending Story doesn't it?

Yes... it's my romantic nature I think.

It is difficult to quite communicate the ~feeling~ of the dream though, it's so much more than just the visual content that's important.

Yes, I think you told me of the dancing serpents dream before! Cool dream.

I had another dream a while ago where I had to defeat a lion, single-handed. No one would help me. I never thought I would manage it, but I got lucky somehow. Then the lion turned into some kind of council of elders that were walking in procession and were going to hold a meeting. It seemed peaceful and cool.

Lurk doesn't think you can walk straight? Do you think it could be the actual Lurk, communicating with you somehow as your familiar?

I am very interested in dreams right now, they are my compass.
