Namaste Angelique , how are you?
I have reached lesson 17 of the course , "Brain Gender" , I would like to respond, or rather perhaps ask a question.... you mentioned :

Quote"~ long quote from the lesson deleted"

.....okay....obviously like any other men I did feel offended to some degree about the jokes about men ..... but whats at the back of my mind and am trying to say, is that if someone calls me an "idiot", or calls me "you worthless piece of crap"....I would feel offended .... what am trying to say is that all humans react negatively to something negative.... even Mahatma Ghandi .... he was offended by the way his people where treated, and he felt quite angry and disgusted with the British government....perhaps what distinguished him from most other people, is that he reacted without using violence ....
Am not sure if I made my point very clear, but am basically saying that whether it is a joke making fun of men or a joke about how ugly someone looks.... it is "obvious and normal to feel bad and offended" .... if someone for example, steals your car tyre you would obviously not like it right?
my question is , is it possible not feel offended or bad, if someone calls me, pig or accuses me of doing something which I didnt do, or pees on my car(which did happen to me almost a week back) ..?? is it possible ? How so?
Am asking the above questions because I understood from previous lessons, and perhaps this lesson as well in the FST course, that it is expected eventually at some level of spiritual development, one should not react negatively to negative comments or situations , through non-attachment . Perhaps I understood it wrongly, but we are all humans regardless of what our spiritual level is .
I'm asking in good spirit, wanting to learn .....
Thank You Very Much .

...I do have a few more questions actually , been on mind that Ive been wanting to ask that came up as I went through some of the FST lessons .

One is regarding the divine beloved. I have done the meditations to connect to the divine beloved...and every time I get a different image, sometimes of a beautiful actress(which I feel uncomfortable and hesitant to focus on, because it is some kind of astral rape to fantasize about someone right?), sometimes of a crocodile, sometimes of a unicorn, even weirder, of these ugly horror creatures opening their asses and pooing on me...almost like a shit fetish. *shrugs* ....I have had weird thoughts and images like these before, but I feel that am creating my image of the DB rather than actually allowing the true image of the DB immerge from my subcounsous .... is that okay?

my second questions is: when you mention the unconscious, are you just using a different name for the sub-conscious? Subconscious to my understanding is like our dreams and stuff... unconsous is like the state of our deep sleep.

my third question is...that yesterday night, before going to bed, I made a clear statement that I would like to connect to my kundalini while am sleeping .... I dont remember the entire dream, but I remember a portion of it, where I was surrounded by different snakes of various breeds and they where biting me one by one and it actually hurt during the dream...what could this mean?
....once again . Thank You .
Best Wishes~ Mohammed

By changing yourself, your framework or reaction to what you think it means. For example, most women are offended if someone calls them a bitch, they will go berserk in total fury, but it makes me crack up laughing because I have reframed it around two jokes.

What is the difference between a slut and a bitch? A slut sleeps with everyone, a bitch sleeps with everyone but you. LOL!! It is true, as one feminist said, she gets called a bitch whenever she acts unlike a doormat. Or as the "Heartless Bitches" website says, BITCH means
Being
In
Total
Control,
Honey!

So, you look at where it is coming from, someone calling me a bitch is probably frustrated by my independence and outspoken ways. Tough shit for them! LOL!

Change what it means in your mind, look at where it is coming from, and add a little bit of compassion. Making excuses for your personal hot buttons is resistance, not surrender.

Yup.

It is better to let it take its own form, but creating a form for the DB in your imagination works too... so long as you do not try to control it once the form is shaped. Sounds like you could do some entity clearing on the uglier forms.

: my second questions is: when you mention the unconscious, are you just using a different name for the sub-conscious? Subconscious to my understanding is like our dreams and stuff... uncoucnsous is like the state of our deep sleep.

Labels... it is both. You are conscious of your ego, all that you are not conscious of is your unconscious, which extends from the subconscious to the collective super consciousness.

Being bitten by snakes is a classic Kundalini dream, and a positive omen.
Blessings!
