Hello:

   I am faced with a small crisis, with regards to Fire Serpent Tantra.

   My partner, Virtual-space.com who hosts the realplayer portion of FST, is going out of business.  50% of your $88.88 tuition went to them, to cover the cost of hosting and streaming the videos, video support and billing. As happens when companies close down,  I will not be getting a refund, and neither will you.

 Like many dot-com companies, they started out with big expectations, a large corporate loan and fancy offices.  Repeated downsizing over the years, was not enough to cover expenses, and finally they have chosen to close the doors. They have already stopped handling the credit cards, and will cease to host the videos sometime next week. Already they have made changes, and the videos look terrible! Even on my computer, which is only 20 miles from the source.

  I learned of this only a few days ago, and since then have been scrambling to find a way to carry on without interruptions in service. It seems unlikely I will succeed in that, but I have found  a new provider and am in the process of updating.  Please notify me of any problems you discover.

  Fortunately, most of the more recent new members bought the CD of the course, and so will not experience any downtime. I encourage new members who have not bought the CD, to reconsider doing so.

  Yes, it really does... it sucks bigtime.

  but there is progress, I have a new provider and I'm just working out some bugs in the system that are causing problems with links between the lessons and the new provider.

Email me privately to tell me what lesson you are on, and I'll send you direct links to view the videos for that lesson from the new provider.

TAAAADAAAAAA!!!

The videos appear to be working, now. I am re-uploading some of them this evening, so a few may be down temporarily, but by tommorrow all will be fine.

 When you click on the link to a video in each lesson, you will be prompted for your username and password... after you enter it, you may get an error message, but disregard it and just go ahead and hit "play" on your realplayer screen, and the lesson will play. Let me know how the quality is.

  Although it has been a few days of stress, getting a new provider, etc... and it was not nice for my business partner to abandon the project, without completeing on the agreement to the students to provide streaming...  over all I am pleased.

I did not always get along so well with the partner, and it feels good now that I don't have one. The new payment system seems to be working fine, and my overall costs for running the course have decreased! (If I don't count a week of my time to fix everything!)
