masculine and feminine spirituality

I am on the matriarchy lesson and noticing some of my own bias around masculine and feminine spirituality or views of God vs Goddess.

I have associated not so much a negative judgmental Father with the masculine view of God, but  transcendental, uninterested witness, pure unaffected, and in many ways, indifferent Consciousness. In Hindu terms, Bhraman, or Lord Shiva, sitting on a far off mountain, absorbed in bliss, not interested in participating in the world.

In the world I think of Ramana Maharshi as the "ideal" of this approach.

I haven't had a clear sense of Goddess, though I had my own model of Goddess' approach to enlightenment- Tantra, following one's bliss, and love.

This path I see someone like Ammachi as the embodiment of.

Anywho, just my own old models- which I am offering over to Goddess.

blessings,

S.e.e.
