Hi Angelique and everybody,

I just rejoined FST after being away for many years. I originally was not a good student, and dropped out after a time. But I've been feeling for a long time that I should rejoin FST and the heart voice said it was ok, so here I am. I'm a Newfie, born and raised. I just moved back here after spending 12 years in Vancouver. It's quieter here, and the pace suits me better. My spiritual background was originally Pentecostal, and then Wiccan for 13 years. Not I'm not really anything, just an ecumenical spiritual seeker. There is a lot in both Buddhism and Christianity that I am drawn to right now. My spiritual focus right now is grounding, eliminating entities and talking with the Heart Voice. It's kind of nice to be able to hear my own thoughts again as in recent years Vancouver had become too metropolitan and stressful for me to be able to get in touch with myself. I'm in a rural setting now and I can hear the trees grow. It's nice. :)

I have questions about the first lesson, into to kundalini. First of all, MAS says that people have reported their DNA changing. I'm wondering how that's possible? Did they get their dna tested? I don't extraordinarily large claims as long as they can be backed up with hard evidence. Yes, I am a skeptic though not religious about it. She also mentioned people who are in a healing state can match their body energy field to the magnetic field of the earth. Can anyone point me to a scientific study or article that talks about this? Preferably one that uses laymen's terms.

I was delighted to read that kundalini can lead to improved health and increased intelligence, even miracles. I have severe rheumatoid arthrits and mental health issues which causes fatigue, pain, anxiety, depression, and cognitive issues. Knowing k improves health gives me even greater imperative to get grounded, though I am not expecting miracles to come from it. I'm just happy when I have the resources and support to cope with the health issues. Moving back to NL gave me that as my family is very supportive.

I like that the kundalini path is a yoga and not a religion. :)

Thanks. Regards,

WZ

Hey, WhimZ.  Welcome.  Room for all.

We share some similar spiritual roots.  I'm a Jewish Buddhist, myself who came of age during the '60s.  I'm living in pastoral setting, too.  Big maple tree behind the house.  An expanse of sky.

Good that you're practicing grounding and heart voice.  Both are part of the course's foundation.  Grounding is a wonderful stand alone and it potentiates everything.  Heart voice is an essential component of discernment, another part of the foundation.

This is a link to the audio of the grounding, on youtube.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLzzXvNPezI  It's a treat to hear Mystress's voice.

As you'll come to find, over time, your k adjusts you and becomes a way of life.
