Hello Ant,

thank you for the welcome. And by this way hello to all fellow students.

I am 36 years old and it is been a while i'm "interested" in Kundalini. Actually it recently occured to me I probably had a (partial?) K-Awakening in my late teenager years. I was experimenting a lot at that time, trying to tickle the boundaries of consciousness. Well... it worked and created a big mess. But the seed was planted.

About 5 years ago I began to get more seriously involved in terms of a regular practice. In my case this means meditation and some tantric yoga practices from Tibetan Bön/Buddhism. My main practice is called "Tsa Lung" which is a mix of deep breathing, specific motions and visualization. It stimulates 5 energy centers (head, throat, heart, navel, and sexual).

So you could say I am pretty involved in tibetan buddhism. However I am also sceptical about the whole dharma business, the structures of power of the monasteries and the place of the woman in modern Vajrayana buddhism. There's something not OK.

End of 2009 I called the universe for Kundalini. I somehow wanted to get further down the energy/yoga road - the universe answered. I heard about the Fire Serpent Tummo initiation and thankfully received it.

Well the rest you all know, don't you?  ;D It supercharged my practice.

Even as I am writing these lines... this whole website is magic.

Thanks to all and looking forward to learn about other members.

Cheers,

Hello Astoe.

I was hoping you could expand a little more on what you thought to be a "partial awakening" in your teenage yours.

Partial kundalini awaking
i think Mystress posted not long ago
(ill go back and try to find it)
something about kundalini being 1000 pedal lotus
and each pedal has to open up
so i am thinking a partial awakening is like some pedals opening up

i to0 most relate to a kundalini awaking back to my teen age years too

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback.

I don't want to go too much in technical details but let me say that with 18-19 I got propelled into several very deep yoga/meditation experiences. I accessed spheres I was in no way able to integrate in my daily life at that moment.

This led through long periods of isolation, unabilty to relate to others, feeling like walking on clouds, etc... You may say that I was not grounded anymore but that would be an understatement. So actually for years my spiritual path was mainly about coming down in my body on this beautiful planet.

I like this idea by the way. At a certain stages the most direct way to "spirituality" may be to strengtehn the material plane, e.g. get grounded.
Also I have to think about the words of a teacher I appreciate. He says there is no such thing as beginner and advanced practices. The only question is what practice brings the biggest benefit at this moment.

Well just some thoughts...

have a happy day
