Greetings everyone,

My question on the grounding exercise has to do with what I feel when I ground.  The sky energy seems to be sluggish and slow while the earth energy is fast and vibrant.  I am also messed up in that if I sit outside in the sun, I feel totally drained.  I am a Reiki Master Teacher and when I Reiki, the energy comes a lot stronger from the earth than from the sky.  I've been told my energies are reversed and I need to switch them around.  What do you people think?  I feel fine the way I am... I'm just definitely a night person and much more in tune with the earth.

welcome to the Tea Room... and please be patient for responses... conversations seem to often take place over several days...

as long as you feel you are fine the way that you are, i would be very skeptical about any people that tell you to reverse your energies... it's wonderful that you have such a great connection with Earth... i have a similar very special friendship with our planet... *smiling*

in the Grounding Visualization, i think Mystress Angelique mentions that Earth GRATEFULLY returns the energy you send down into her with a volcano-like gift of Shakti rushing up into you... and this is certainly how i feel it... but keep in mind that when you channel this Earth Energy up into the Sky, the Sky is also very GRATEFUL that you are acting as a channel to increase its deliciously ecstatic tantric connection with its beloved planet, Earth...

so i suggest that you continue to do the Grounding Visualization in the way that Mystress teaches it, then just accept as much energy from above as you are able to receive... be grateful, and then let it become a gift for your beloved friend, Earth...

then be aware of the precious gift that you are relaying to Sky when the fountain of Earth Energy rises to it... it is the Mother's rushing orgasmic ejaculation, and the Sky will be very happy and grateful that you are serving as a channel for its wonderful tantric union with Earth... this will increase your closeness with the Sky, and eventually you will be able to feel and channel more of its energy...

anyway, i am hoping that you might be helped by hearing my view of being a channel, a sense organ of Mother Earth, that allows her to feel great ecstasy in her loving relationship with Father Sky...

 Welcome to the course.
 It is not that your energy is reversed, it is simply that your root chakra is wide open and your crown chakra is not. So you only get a trickle of energy from the top compared to a flood from the bottom. Because you are using Reiki, you are getting enough chi from around you, so you have compensated for the crown blockage.
 Nothing to worry about, you are having a "bottom up" awakening where some people have a "top down" awakening. The crown and upper chakras will open when the time is right.
