Hi All, Hi Mystress,

I have started to read through the first lesson, whilst still waiting for the CD to arrive. I have been using dowsing for white a while to see whether I am going in the right direction since I started with the Grounding Exercises about 5 months ago, and it indicated that the Fire Serpent Tantra course would be right for me. Having read some info on the other Kundalini websites, I am a bit shocked to find that quite a number of people had gone mad, etc. after Kundalini awakening, although this is not the first time I heard this. However, whilst I somehow feel that the path I am on is perfectly safe, unfortunately I am one of those people who easily get fearful by what they read or hear (e.g. my initial worry whether it is safe for me to do the grounding exercise, which was laughable since now I know that it is one of the best things, that have ever happened to me). Whilst I probably get over this at some stage, in the meantime I just wanted to know how I can avoid becoming mad or incapable of looking after my young children, husband etc. and whether those people had done something wrong for it to all turn out like this ?
Sorry for being so ignorant but I have been asking the Universe for a while to assist me in my spiritual development and it has promptly delivered.......e.g. Mystress' website and also had wonderful energy work experience through a lovely lady, also read Louise Hays.

All the best, Sabrina

  Hi Sabrina:

I know about all the fear mongering Kundalini websites... those folks do not want to take responsibility for themselves. They hurt themselves by not trusting that Goddess knows best. They think of Kundalini like its a wild thing that attacked them, but it is thier own resistance to follow the path of thier own soul that gets them kicked.

You stay sane by co-operating with the energy, trusting it and not resisting what comes up. The focus on grounding and surrender is there because it works and keeps you healthy.

People get into trouble when they start to resist the process, and the more they resist the harder the energy pushes ... Goddess has to win and how beat up do they need to be to realize it?  People get beat up because they pick a fight with Goddess.  Ego wants its illusions of control.

What usually happens, is the K fire starts to BBQ one of thier ego's sacred cows and they freak and resist... and so the energy burns hotter which triggers more stuff that builds up behind the resistant point like a logjam in a river.  So now there is all this emotional karma stuff clouding their body and mind because they are in a fearful, ungrounded state of resistance.  The karma junk is all made of fear so they start to get more paranoid. Fear is inventive and they are in an altered state so they will often get some sort of subjective validation of the fear.  Synchronicites mis-interpreted through a filter of fear. (Its not paranoia if they really are after you, right? So they invent or make enemies to persuade themselves they are still sane.)

Sometimes they give power away thinking the kriyas are demon possession or psychic attack. Physical illness can follow as the body is under stress and the life force flowing is being blocked up.  Sometimes the metabolic glands.. adrenals etc start to burn out.

So it all comes of being ungrounded and giving energy to fear. Not knowing Energy hygiene: how to identify the karma junk and surrender it.   Learning to get grounded and stay grounded is primary because it is a state that is free from fear, yet also a calm and aware state to go about your normal day.  If something ungrounds you, you notice and surrender it so it doesnt grow a logjam mess in your head.

The three points of the triangle: grounding, surrender and discernment are what keeps you safe to have a beautiful awakening. Not that there won't be bumps along the way but not more than you can handle.  Those three things are more than lessons, they are a lifelong discipline that we try to make into a habit.

Grounding: plug into source, get smarter and escape ego fear noise ruling you.
Surrender: releasing the ego fear noise and trusting your Infinite mind to run your life better than you can.
Discernment: knowing when you are lying to yourself. Your body telling you if what you are thinking or believing is not true.
Of course when you add in being able to communicate directly with the process through the heart voice, discernment and the Divine Beloved.. you are well taken care of.

  Blessings...

Mystress,

Thanks for your wonderful reply, I have been practicing grounding for the last 5 months or so, and am now starting to practise/ better understand the karma release/ surrender exercises. I am very excited that I am on this journey...thanks for your loving care along the way....

Mystress,

Not surprisingly, I find the surrendering bit difficult. I am happy to practice grounding up to 20times a day now, as recommended by you. But with the surrounding, I seem to not have sufficient trust that Goddess will take care of whatever gift I have given her. I have more the urge to pull grey stuff like chewing gum out of me and throw it as a ball into fire. It almost automatically happens. When I do the surrendering, as per your instructions, I can almost hear my inner self saying 'just trust, stop wanting to control' whilst my 'Ego' says: 'quickly check whether it is still there'.  Am I doing something wrong ?

Or do I need to practice more ?

Surrender isn't so much a practice as a philosophy and a way of life. It's difficult sometimes at first while ego still has hold to "just let go" of things but it becomes easier as you live it. When you feel yourself getting overly attached to something or getting caught up in drama step back and look at the situation. Five years from today is today's situation really going to matter? If, God forbid, you had a terrible house fire and lost the object you attach to would you cease to live? Would that which animates you leave you if you broke the ties? When you ask yourself these questions you will find it becomes easier to "let go and let God". Life is a joyous play, sit back and enjoy it. When you truly witness the universe instead of trying to fight against it ego starts to fall away.
"The Queen of the Universe resides within the flower of my secret heart. Mother, I seek refuge at your beautiful feet, delicate and fragrant as the dark blue lotus. As my body dissolves into earth and my mind into space, may I dissolve into you."

Thank you very much for your kind comments.....

Surrender is mention in passing in the early lesson but you really wont get into it until further on, by then your grounding is established and faith is easier.  Blessings...
