Kundalini was awakened in me 8 months ago during a 10 day silent meditation retreat (Vipassana)  I have been learning to live with this energy that has been unleashed in my body.  I am so very excited to find my way to you.  I cannot wait to get to all the lessons.  

I am a new student and am working on the Levels of Consciousness lesson.  

My question is:  Who or what is directing the energy that moves though my body.  Is the direction for that movement coming from within me?  I seem to do nothing but surrender to Devine Wisdom and just let it happen.  It, is twisting and turning, gentle or sometimes almost violent movements.  I feel like every part of my body has been gone over.  At times, it has been painful and scary but I somehow feel like it is cleansing me;making me whole.  The energy that goes through me feels like liquid light.  When the energy encounters, what I call a block, it undoes the block by whatever means it needs. I am like a puppet being moved every which way. I have a great deal of trust that what is happening to me is for the good and have simply submitted to letting it happen. I feel like my body is being healed.   I have learned that I have to spend time each day letting the energy work if I don't want to be bouncing into walls.  We seem to have made peace with each other.  I give the energy its time,and it allows me to function somewhat normally in the world. This was not the case in the beginning. I ended up visiting a local Shaman who helped me learn to ground myself because I was flying off every which way.

So back to Levels of Consciousness,in addition to wondering where the energy is coming from, I wonder who is the witness who observes what is happening to me?
What level is the Goddess?  Is she inside of me?  Or, is she directing all of this from the Void?  
Perhaps I just need to be patient and wait for the information to come to me in the lessons that will follow?

I am so very excited about the teachings. I have been asking for a Teacher and one has come.  Thankyou.

Yes, it is coming from within you, and Divine Wisdom is directing it, and Divine Wisdom is within you.. and within everything! Ego experiences the separation, but that is the illusion.

Great! Surrender is the key.

Grounding is very important.

The Void is inside of you too. It is the spaces between your atoms, and the space between the stars.  Goddess is not inside or outside, She is All.. and it is Her looking through your eyes when you are in the Witness state.
