Hello,

I have decided to leave the course. I don't like Mystress's attitude towards teaching for a few reasons.

She teaches us to be disciplined. At least 3 times that I can list, she has contradicted herself within a year of saying something. And she has done it more than three times, but I havn't chose to remember them all. Ok, maybe she is on her own path and is still learning herself. I suppose its nice to have compassion for someone, but this is a waste of my time. The result of her behaviour is what it is - her facts were wrong.

She also does not respond to questions. I think that this is poor behaviour on the part of a teacher. But I guess she sets the rules so she can do whatever she wants. I went to university, and the professors knew their disciplines. I rarely had a question that was not answered. Of course, I paid much more for university and this course is only $88 USD.

Mystress asked me to use my discernment on whether or not I should continue to be in this course. All of my insights said "its basically your choice". I don't need this course, I can be taught everything through my higher self.

Mystress said "most people don't finish my course. I don't know why." Now you know why I didn't finish.

Spiritual teachers are actually well-known to have a tough attitude. Compared to some others, I think Mystress is really soft and compassionate at least most of the time. And she really cares to help people who have difficulties on their path, while some others don%rsquot seem to care at all. It is true that she often contradicts her self, at least seemingly, but that can at least in most cases be understood, as the truth is actually different at different levels of existence.

I have myself from time to time had a tendency to become overly dependent on Mystress judgments and her answers to my questions. But as I have proceeded on the course I have found out that I don%rsquot always agree with her. The general truth she expresses is not always my truth, at least not at this part of my path. For instance I have not seen so much of the ugly mirror at this course as I expected. On the contrary, this far some things revealed have been nice surprises. Maybe I was not in all respects as bad as I thought. But I suppose I might eventually regret writing that.

To me this course has been a wonderful experience; a portal to a new world and a way to feel better and to get more balanced and in tune with my inner self. So I will stay and finish the course if I am able to, even if it might take time to get everything to work and even if I have had some difficulties and actually took a break from new lessons for about a year to work with my power chakra blockage. Actually my worse problem when it comes to getting further ahead on this course is that I am too lazy to practice the grounding exercise as often as I should. When I practice it, I feel much better a lot of things tend to happen, but when I don%rsquot, it seams as if my spiritual growth has stopped %ndash or even reversed. So I certainly need to be more disciplined.

You are leaving because you think you are superior to the teacher.  You are also leaving because you deny and cannot accept your own imperfections and your impatience to become enlightened.  You are angry because you think you have a right to be given something that you think you have not been given.  But it's right in front of you.  You don't see it.  

You will never find a perfect teacher, so long as your teacher is human.  As long as you refuse to accept that you can be imperfect and yet perfect and valuable at the same time, then you will continue to find teachers (and people in general) who dissillusion you.

No teacher is perfect and no teacher has all the answers.  But you think you have the answers.  When you see each teacher (even one who teaches you something that leads you astray...and they are out there) as a gift and embrace ALL the lessons - remembering that even an insect is a teacher - then you will be grateful for what you have been given.

Expressing your dissatisfaction is only a cry for help.  Your confusion is evident in your posts.  Grattitude might be the most important thing that will help you.

  Your departure doesn't surprise me, I saw it coming months ago... I have actually been wondering why you are still here since your dis-satisfaction is so apparent.

 You were only on the heart chakra lesson when your member ship expired in May... I don't delete expired memberships but I like it when people renew. It shows they value what is offered.

Some people want enlightenment, others only want attention.

 You want logical, concrete answers to questions that can only be a leap of faith. That is your blockage, made of fear.

I cannot supply those answers for you- it is not possible and it is not my job. Enlightenment, in the end must be a "do it yourself" project. Nobody can walk that road for you, or carry you there. I can point the way but you have to choose to follow... it is not about trusting the teacher, it is about trusting your Self.
