Hello,

I'm a newbie here.  I am aware that I have difficulty with introducing myself and what to say, when I first start out.

I have been reading with interest the postings that have been
presented here. I have heard about 'kundalini' and chakras before, but haven't quite understood what it was all about.

The reason, I think I was led to this site - was that I was searching on the net for a way to connect back to God (Goddess).

While growing up, I felt a very close connection to spirit, talking to spirit all the time, then I got married, and got out of practice (stopped conversing with them), and lost the closeness I felt with them.  So, I checked this site out and decided to work with it.
The guides have been telling me that I need to open my heart whenever I asked them for help...but at the moment I am having a hard time "hearing" them.

I read one of the posts sections on "mirroring" and on "chakras", both seemed to clear up some things for me.  I read Mystress's post and diagram on the chakras and that helped also, especially her comment on caesarian births (the second chakra?) it explains why I have felt not belonging on this planet -
Question -  is there any way to change that - so I will feel like I belong more?

I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of this group.

I also want to thank Mystress for her loving support and input she has shared with me.

I guess that's all for now...hope everyone has a plesant day.

Namaste,

B.J.

Hi Friends,

If I ever post something I'm not supposed to, please let me know.

I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing - spacy-flighty mind?

I seem to have a short attention span, or something.
I have a very difficult time finishing what I start - staying on track.  I want very much to complete this course. What's the best way to go about it?

Also, I have tried several times to "save" Mytress
video player on Grounding, so I could learn how to do it myself, instead of "relying" on her.  I do appreciate the help, but I also want to be able to practice the 8x's a day/45day thing.  Does she have a CD of the grounding session I can buy and play on my CD player?  The 'Realplayer' keeps coming up that the website doesn't exist or something (about a DSN can't be found?)

is it also ok if i put my URL website on the postings? (below the 'comment' box it has 'optional link URL'

Thanks for your help.

Sorry about that - I just finished reading through a few of archives postings and found my answer regarding the grounding CD.  Thanks Mystress for your archives.  But if anyone has any comments regarding the rest of today's posting of mine, I'd appreciate it if you would share.

thanks

Namaste

Hi BJ,

Welcome to the board! It seems that the Scotts are the first to greet you.

I first became interested in kundalini partly because I felt I had developed a flighty spacey mind. I felt I needed to improve concentration.

At work these are the things I have found.

Must be grounded 24/7. However I found that I needed time to really enjoy myself on the weekends.

This is a form of active surrender:

See if you can find out what works for you. There seems to be long periods where failures seem to occur one after another, like a string of bad luck. Also, there seems to be periods where success comes very easily, like you have just found the sweet spot. Both periods will pass however if we feel ourselves making errors we should stop, re-ground, and move forward.

I read an article that said if there is a period where you think you are superman and you don't make mistakes, its not because you are not making them its because you aren't catching them! So when you catch your mistakes, its a good thing.

Notice how you feel and think when you exhibit positive work habits. Likewise, pay attention when you are forgetful. Your mind may be in the past or you may be beating yourself up inside or you may be angry.

If you are grounded, I think it will be easier and easier to notice what type of behaviours are dead ends, and what are ones are ones you should be using.

Behaviours are mental, physical, inward and outward so be aware of all of these things. In a sense, it is mindfullness.

Remember also to release expecations. Surrender. Before you can do the active surrender which I described above, it helps to do passive surrender.

This type of growth takes loooooong time. I have spent countless hours doing this, and it has produced long lasting personal growth.

I am not sure if you were talking about how to deal with the flighty mind in the workplace so maybe it is not applicable to your situation. Either way, now you have my best advice :).

I think the best way to do the course I think is to find out the best way for you. When I started the course I had almost zero spiritual training and I discovered that I really needed to make some life changes before I could move forward. But for everyone I suppose it is different.

About posting the URL, I'm not sure what the rules are.

All the best BJ!

Scott

: Hi Friends,

: If I ever post something I'm not supposed to, please let me know.

There are guidelines in the opening note, linked at the top of the page.

: I was wondering if anyone has been experiencing - spacy-flighty mind?

: I seem to have a short attention span, or something.
: I have a very difficult time finishing what I start - staying on track.  I want very much to complete this course. What's the best way to go about it?

Do a lesson per week, as suggested on the index page. Read the index page.

Use more discernment when choosing projects. Those that are as Goddess wills for you, will get done and time wasters won't.

: Also, I have tried several times to "save" Mytress
: video player on Grounding, so I could learn how to do it myself, instead of "relying" on her.  I do appreciate the help, but I also want to be able to practice the 8x's a day/45day thing.  Does she have a CD of the grounding session I can buy and play on my CD player?  The 'Realplayer' keeps coming up that the website doesn't exist or something (about a DSN can't be found?)

: is it also ok if i put my URL website on the postings? (below the 'comment' box it has 'optional link URL'

A link would be fine, but not a banner ok? Welcome to the course.

: Thanks for your help.
