I've been playing around with the mirror game a bit the past few days. Quite interesting.  I grew elf ears once. (that gave me the chuckles) Some faces looking like demonic aspects of myself. They haven't been very clear so far, very subtle and shifting.

This morning though, for a moment my head dissappeared from the mirror! Shoulders and torso were there, but the head just faded out. Nothing was there. Not even the background behind it. Only for a few seconds, but still a bit odd.

It's kinda difficult at times to keep centered on the eyes or eyebrow center when it's semi dark..  My gaze starts to drift away from the face, sometimes coming to the edge of the mirror, and then I have to start over.. I guess because they don't have anything clear to focus on, they start moving.. Maybe it'll get easier with practice.

I have had similar experiences.. for many years i could not see myself in the mirror I don have an answer as to what all this means, sometimes is appears to be shadow aspects.. sometimes pastlifes.. sometimes monadic or higher aspects etc.

But one thing i do know is that the mirror if used correctly is a door to freedom. About 4 years ago where all these things were new and scary to me i had an interesting experience. I lived in India and a healer gave me a session.. i had to look at myself in the mirror while he asked me some questions to deepen my experience. That day i was in my center.. and my focus was very clear.. i did not hear what the healer said because as i saw my reflection.. i also saw the outside forces affecting me. At that time i was very challenged by demons and entities.. and was powerless inside regarding to them.. but that day i had no fear and i looked these beings straight in the eye with a one-pointed mind. The session lasted about an hour.. and i "burned" trough so many things.. nomatter what powers they used to get me to back down and go back to my prisoncell i would not. The only time i lost my focus a bit was when an entity who had no eyes attacked me.. since i had defeated the other attackers but looking them in the eyte without judgement.. i found this very amusing At the end of the hour i was changed.. not totally free of all my karma etc. but that level of me was cleared. I looked at the healer with a big smile.. and he was struck with "awe". i had schratch mark and wounds on my face and body.. and this freaked him out a bit since he had not experienced this before I still see many things when i look in the mirror.. and when the time comes to go to the next level i will look in the mirror again since this comes very naturally and easily to me.

I also use it sometimes for smaller issues.. and the personal excorsism only happened once as described above.. but it is a very good way of facing the outside forces and limitations from which we may suffer. So go ahead and practice Gustaf.. but in your case i think it is more a matter of letting it happen since you already know how

I don't find anything scarey with the mirror game, in fact I seem to be having problems doing it at all. My face dissappears and it all becomes a mass of misty grey, and my gaze starts drifting towards the outlines, usually to the left, only to 'snap' back again, and I have to start over.  No matter what I do, my eyes drift away from the center of the face, ending up in some weird angle.. Because there is no point left to focus on, just a grey mass..

I'm probably just going to drop the whole thing since nothing seems to come out of it. It's definitely not fun. Just irritating.

So I went back to have another try.. Working from home today, so why not. I tried approaching it with a different attitude.. Simply looking with the third eye instead of straining to see something with the physical eyes.. With an attitude of accepting whatever happens. Including a misty mass of nothingness where the face usually is.. Letting that be there, too, loving that, too..  Chuckling to myself it occurred that maybe the unconcious trying to tell me something with that, too!

Looking upon a faceless face with love is quite an experience. No defined form, let it be there, as much as it wishes, for as long as it wishes. Sometimes it melted away further, kinda sinking away into the background.. Sometimes the facial features returned, slowly morphing.. Different eyebrows, different eyes.. Older, younger, tired and sickly, smooth and ageless, rounder, gaunter, so forth. Often they look -almost- like my usual face, but something changes.  It's subtle. Sometimes something entirely different pops by.

Sometimes I'm a walking paradox.  I have the most vivid imagination, and can see things with my inner eye with ease, yet when there's some sort of meditation involved, I start straining! Trying to see it with the physical eyes instead of just looking with the third eye lol!  

It appears like ego putting demands and expectations on things, also demanding that things must appear in certain ways in order to be good enough, or be real... So afraid to be faceless!  Oh lol, things flowing into me as I am writing this. I felt absolutely no fear of seeing vicious demons or images of my face slashed up or mangled or dark or nasty. I have no difficulties loving those things..  I was expecting demons and angels, dungeons%dragons..  But the faceless man, the nothing. Of not being seen, of not knowing, having a definition of who I am or what I look like.

I find the faceless man to be the hardest of all to love. First I thought maybe I was doing something wrong.. But if the faceless face stays there so insistantly (while other times faces come and go), my Divine Beloved must be trying to tell me something. Heck, I can even blink my eyes and my normal face don't reappear right away.

If my eyes need to drift sometimes, I will let them do so.. Not much else to do when things become very undistinct.

Yes it was an interesting experience. These days i see myself in the mirror.. and if i focus i get pretty much same results as you. The images and inputs are so fragile.. if i focus on them they dissapear.. the same if i do not focus.. and it can be hard to keep that balance for more than a few minutes.

I do not recall any pastlives regarding this abillity.. but i could imagine that i at some point in time have spend ALOT of time scrying or something like that.

And i you have no real problems to deal with and it is just a game.. then i guess it gets boring

One hint i can give you for going very deep and do clearing work this way is to sit/stand in front of the mirror and let go: I mean let the faces come to you.. and stay unatached. I guess this is what mystress referes to as the witness state.. or atleast my version of it. And since you have no fear this should not be that hard. But the grey mass or the haze sounds like something that could be very worth burning trough for you.. maybe this energy makes many other thing in your life uninteresting and irritating??

But there are so many ways to clear and grow, and we all find a way that suits our mentallity.. i did not learn this i just had to find a way of not being sucked into portals all the time. I was at that point in time caught in the "twillight zone" and the experience i mentioned earlier was just me getting out of the twillight zone and return to "normal" life.

If something important comes up i still have the same abillity.. i can sit at the hairdresser and have a conversation while "burning" trough layers of info and pastlives. Very surreal.. but nice to know that men can multitask and that some parts of me is more clever than me.

But i must say that i would much rather have your "kirtan clearing" i find this to be the most beautifull one of all.. unfortunately i am a terrible singer.. but i am saving up to buy an indian harmonium.. (i just deeply and profoundly love that instrument) maybe this will activate my latent talents for singing also

I did not see that you had made this posting before i answered a little while ago.. and what you write here makes most of my answer irrelevant.. but funny.. i swear to God almighty that your post was not on my screen 5 minutes ago *LOL*

As i mentioned earlier it is still not clear to me what things like this mean?? Is it pastlives, projections, us in other dimension etc.??

But i have another experience with this that might shed a bit more light on this. A former girlfriend and me could see this in one another, sometimes so strong that for 5-10 seconds it was "she" shifted and i saw her other "costumes". Many crazy things.. and very often Hanuman We could read trough these costumes like an archive. One evening i started wondering what this meant.. so i started stating "please show me the most beautifull form.. ugliest etc." In order to find out what it meant.. and the faces would shift according to my questions.. for me and her. As time went by there where no longer so many different forms.. it was no more than 5-8 where it seemed infinite at the beginning. I have seen faces and forms in others but nothing like this.

I asked a medium if she knew anything about this.. i dont remeber her full answer but she said something about meeting on a monadic level.. we saw our lower forms.. and went higher and higher.. and if we had have had a high enough level we would have ended up seeing the pure form?? And the reason for not seeing so much in "normal people" was because they where cut of from their source and that they had only one form active or connected.

Hmmm still puzzles me a bit.

Interesting point you had about the 3. eye.. i guess i see with this also. I just dont master this.. i see when i see.. and when i want to see or know something i am blind. But eversince i stoppet caring about having this gift i seem to know and grow alot.. i just dont have cinamatic scope  at will.

Yeah something happened with the posts I made. Couldn't see them either!

Somehow when I did it last time, I got the feeling that I shouldn't try to find so hard what the faces are, or the lack of faces, or whatever it is. Especially with the blank face, the message was clear to me.. Don't create a system or knowledge database about it.. Forget about that. Just watch, be attentive and see what happens!

Hehe yes!  I try something really hard, and it never, ever manifests lol! I guess that's the thing with imagination... Drop all expectations. With expectations it's just visualization.. When imagination kicks in, something that's not part of my usual day to day patterns makes its way in.. Something new and fresh. New and fresh to the day-to-day conciousness at least.
