it was recommended that i do keigals to help with the pelvic conjestion associated with this bladder disorder i have..for some reason I just never wanted to try them...then i began reading about yoga and kundalini and these sorts of things and found out that keigals are used to raise kundalini energy ( is that correct?) i started to so some the other day and even after the first 5 or so i was having a pretty intense feeling...it was very pleasurable but it made me a bit afraid to continue becasue i wasnt sure if this could actually be too intense or dangerous of an experience if I wasn't ready for it..does anyone have any thoughts on this...it was hard to tell if it was my ego telling me to stop out of fear or if my intuition was telling me to be patient and learn more and that i wasnt ready yet..thanks in advance

 Hello, Shannon:

The lesson on kegels comes toward the end of this course, because it can poetentially be too intense for some people. Kiegals are the basic of Kriya yoga and those folks advise not practicing unlesss you are under the care of a Guru.

Kegels can bring up a lot of energy in an awakened person, which can trigger stuff. I feel it is OK for you to do them, but go gently. Notice if you find yourself getting very emotional about things, sometime after doing them. If the emotional release is too much or if you find yourself falling into blame or victimhood, then stop for a while.

  Blessings...

Thank you Mystress. I actually tried them for a couple of days in a row...and for the past few days I have actually been very emotional and feeling like a 'victim'..its so weird that you wrote that and had been describing my experience perfectly...i am usually a very positive person and look at the glass 'half full'..but from doing the lessons in the course, the kegels..plus taking some supplements I think I am detoxing pretty heavily right now and i need to slow down a bit and drink lots of water..one thing I'm wondering about is all of the pressure in my head/ ringing in my ears...is there something I can do to help relieve that..I heard that it is a pretty common thing to experience during kundalini awakening..i've always had it to some extent but it's just been getting a little overwhelming lately..thanks again Mystress

 Hello, Shannon:

It is good that you understand me, experientially, although certainly not much fun! Goddess spanked you for trying to control Her work.

You can have your K. fast and bumpy, a little hazardous or slow and peaceful, depending on what you do to poke it up and whether you can keep up with the release.

If you are doing stuff to enhance it, like kegels, fasting, and holding an intention to cleanse yourself physically and spiritually... it will work, you will trigger a lot of your karma.

What you are feeling is old emotions stored in the body, giving you flashbacks of old fearful states as they move up through your chakras on their way out your crown.

If you mistake the release for a feeling about something current in your life and decide to act on it, seeking "justice" then you can make messes because your aim will be bad.

So if you are going to do the quick bumpy thing you need to get in the habit of surrendering your emotions and acting on the navigation of your chakras- discernment.

Discernment only works if you are grounded... and if you are grounded you cannot be a victim.

Also, if you are in victimhood and not grounded, your crown chakra closes and the karmic energy and Shakti you stirred up cannot exit. Your head feels like a plugged up chimney and your ears whistle like a teakettle.

Grounding. 8x a day for 45 days. More often if you need it. It is a discipline you need to master, before you push too hard and Goddess pushes back.

Focus on staying grounded, and let go of all that other stuff you are doing. Trust Goddess to cleanse you at a pace you can handle.

Blessings~~!

Wow..this all makes so much sense to me..i have so much to learn but i am very excited about it all..'surrendering' to Godess and 'trusting' the process is something i really need to work on..i have definately been 'pushing' to much lately without being grounded..you are so right on about my crown chakra being 'closed'..i was getting a NAET treatment for my allergies the other day and the practitioner was using a pendulum to see if my chakras were open and they all were open except my crown chakra..she said that there was absolutely no movement at all in the pendulum and it was shut..thankyou so much for your comments and insight..it is so helpful for me in this process..grounding, grounding, gorunding...xo
