To talk or not to talk

Hello Mystress!

I hope you had a fantastic trip.  I'd love to hear all about it, I'm sure you have some funny stories (and hopefully not many unfunny stories).

People must be very busy, if K is working them like it's working me.  I am learning so much right now, and enjoying many opportunities that come my way.  I want to thank you because it feels like my heart is really opening at this stage, which feels so nice.

I'm about to start a new job soon and I want to start with the right approach.  The people I'm going to work with will be skilled conversationalists, keen negotiators and adept at selling skills.

My interests are very different from theirs, and I am an open book, especially when I'm passionate about a subject.

Things are fine when people motormouth about their lives, I love to listen.  But how to talk?

I can be such an enthousiastic individual, and when attentive, charming people ask me questions and seem genuinely interested, I'm a real sucker for spilling everything I think I know LOL

My direct question is: what is preferable for all:

To communicate whatever topic enters my mind, when it pertains to matters of spirituality, of what I'm learning, of cultivating our own little space of paradise, etc...  Talking of Goddess!

Or is it better to be prudent, bring the subject around to the other person, and stick to subjects that won't make waves and that I know will not reflect badly on me, that won't make me stand out of the crowd.

My general approach on this is to make sure I'm grounded before I speak, and try to say as little as possible.

If anyone ever went through a similar experience, i'd love to hear your approach.

Thanx!

Nadine
