Surrendering shields

I was really astound tonight when I found myself for the first time being not wanting to let go of the shields (arrogance, disrespect, hate) that I have. They are the things I've being basicly praying on my knees to be taken from me. Now I got the feeling that maeby I'm really not ready to let this protection go, because I get so deeply hurt so easily. I really found respect towards their purpose and saw that they were only my creation for me to not to break down. So interesting to see the dark side from such an upside down view.

Was thinking of asking what to do now, but I think I just want to see for myself how this process goes on.
