Hey Everyone,

Well, I got that new job I may have mentioned back in March or April. Hadn't worked much in 3 months, had so much beautiful free time, now work 35 hours a week, regular workday schedule. Haven't done much else since. But finally am getting adjusted to the rhythm, so I can have a life outside of work too.

Just started doing the course again. But I've been doing groundings the last week. Last night I had a very intense grounding, and I was re-doing the 3rd eye lesson, and I actually got my inner head space to turn from darkness to light-filled. I was so excited.

Read up on the Tea Room emails I missed, and noticed the emails about mid-course blues. I kinda felt like that too. But the last few weeks I've come to realize (yet again) that nothing makes more sense or is more interesting to me than following my spiritual path, wherever that may lead.

I also related to, Augustin I think it was, saying that he read the stuff, but didn't practice so much. That's so me, to be intellectually involved, but not connect to the rest of my body with the practice. I'm trying to do better.

Going to do more lessons tonight. I've been reviewing stuff to get me in synch again. Now I'm caught up and going to new lessons, and I find that I like to do 3-4 lessons a night. I really sit with them, read them, do the video, but I like to do more than one.

In a way this reminds me of how girls in the 60s did birth control. Forget a couple of days? Take three at a time. But I'm trying to be consistant, as well now.

Mystress, what do you think about doing more than one lesson at a time. I take a lot of time to ground myself beforehand, and several times during the lessons. I don't do a lesson unless I feel really grounded.

I think about this motivation problem of mine a lot. How intellectually I want to do something, but I don't get around to a lot of stuff. Maybe I'm being too hard on myself, and expect to get too much done.

Maybe it's because I want to do so much stuff, that I get frustrated I can't do it all, so do nothing. What weird head games. Anyway. Hello to everyone old and new here. Sweet dreams to you all.

Kewl!

That is beautiful, Barg.. noting is so fulfiling as discovering your true self.

: I also related to, Augustin I think it was, saying that he read the stuff, but didn't practice so much. That's so me, to be intellectually involved, but not connect to the rest of my body with the practice. I'm trying to do better.

Augustin's feedback was wonderful, and I will add more activities to the course while I am away in June. I guess I just assumed that students would know to apply the information to practice, without needing to be given a homework assignment.
For the third eye practice, take some time to look at the energy fields around things... the prana-squiggles around trees, the energy radiating off people and mountains.. whatever you are curious about. I usually see stuff in my mind's eye, but sometimes with my physical eyes, too. Take a look at your own energy body, as well.

The third eye is lesson #19.. lesson #21 is on pacing yourself. That will tell you what I think of it..:)
I designed the course to be one lesson per week, but some of the lessons do go better in groups, such as the grounding series. I think it depends on how well you are integrating the information, actualizing it in your life. The lesson following the Third eye is the Witness state. It is important to learn to go into the Witness whenever you find yourself reacting emotionally to situations or triggers. Once you get into the witness state, take a look at all of the dificult situations or relationships in your life, from that perspective. Thus, you can get the "Directors eye view" on your life and see what needs to be surrendered.

I don't want you to go through the lessons so quickly that you forget them because you have not taken the time to actualize the information and integrate it into your lifestyle.
Remember, there is an http://www.fire-serpent.com/preview.html">outline of the course in the preview.

Originally when I designed the course, I was going to have a quiz every 4 lessons or so, and you would have to pass the quiz to go onto the next lessons.. :) Never did create the quizzes, but there is/will be an essay test near the end of the course, before the graduation ritual of opening the Grail. If I feel you have not integrated the information well enough to be prepared for the Grail ritual, you will have to go back and study the past lessons. The grail ritual works best, when a lot of Karma has already been cleared, by integrating the lessons and applying them consistently to your day-to day life events. Goddess will bring stuff up to be cleared at a steady pace, if you are mindful. Most of the students I work with individually attain self realization in 6 months to a year. No reason why my online students would progress that much slower, if the lessons are really being applied.

:I take a lot of time to ground myself beforehand, and several times during the lessons. I don't do a lesson unless I feel really grounded.

That is excellent.
  Blessings!
