Variation on grounding.

Perhaps a silly question.

But performing the grounding meditation while using a martial arts technique;

Arms in to the side forming fists - Breathing in the light from above..

Extending the arms outward, opening the fists to touch index fingers and thumbs in front of your body -
Exhaling, and sending the light down to the earth.

Again bringing the hands back to form fists by your side, and bringing up the light from the earth to fill your aura.

Extending arms outward again, exhaling and sending the light back up to the Sun.

Repeat .....

What i would be doing is breathing in to the stomach, a method from ChiGong. Real breathing essentially.

I am interested in developing my Chi through the techniques offered by the martial arts.

Knowing that shakti, and the awakening process is somewhat oblivious to 'free will chi', ie wizards having a rough time with a course such as this.
Would i be taking the long way around? Or perhaps making the grounding ritual more complex than is neccesary, and maybe less effective?

Sorry to bother you!
But thanks for any advice.

Hi Lexx

I studied Karate and Kung Fu for years, and always thought that their was something missing, until I discovered Tai Chi.

Tai Chi just blows me away, you are always learning, their is a saying that if you say that I know it, then you know nothing. Tai Chi at its highest level is the unknowable. Its all about letting go and being one with what is, here and now.

With the slightest movement one can send a person flying across the room. Its all about perfect body alignment/Structure and a real connection to universal energy. Since I have been studying the Mystress's teaching my free will Chi power does not work as well.

The amazing thing is I have surrendered and given all my abilities to the Goddess, the abilities have returned subtly improved and I am not attached to it now in any way.

I used to breathe as you mention from the stomach. To be precise I reversed the breath first in through the nose down the meridians in the front of my body into the the base chakra, up the spine to the top of the head and then down to the third eye, back of the throat and into the second chakra (tan'tien) where the energy was stored.

Don't need to do that anymore because shakti energy is infinite, just breath as the Mystress explains in the K-primer and do the grounding technique whilst engaging any movement.

So I would answer your question with don't mess about with alternatives. the grounding technique for me now is the most complete exercise I've come across and I know loads of them.

Surrender to Goddess's divine will. Let go of your free will completely.

I like Einstein's quote:
Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.

It makes a confession toward simplicity, while holding a clue to the awareness: nothing is simple!(Shirley Manson).
Is chopping wood or carrying water really that simple? It isn't, that's y we avoid it! ...And seek an easier life by complications; it's so much harder to lie than tell the truth, still the liar is a person seeking an easier life.
And simply telling truth is not always easy.
Another simple direction would be: "All you got to do is listen(...to the soul voice)".
Oh! Should i really? -- With all those "secret doctrines" still unread.
The Simple is also me, and "away with that rubbish", my garbage says;(meanwhile).

These helpful things in simple language are helpful, because we always can return there and keep on building, growing, undeterred by floods of disinformation.

After building on simplicity, things can become easier, as well.

I refer to this tendency as "macrame projects": taking something simple and tying it into elaborate knots, and giving the knots fancy names and showing it off, patting themselves on the back saying "look at me! I am so clever!" because they have made some kind of ugly macarame owl to hang on the wall.

Thank You Mystress, it's just too beautiful, still bending, laughing tears!
Thanks for this strong medicine!

skol!

P.s.: it's still going on, but i won't post about it again, promise; You're simply the best
!
(well, actually Tina's not singing that title here, but this makes it perfect!)

Ok Thanks,

Im going to stick to Mystress's technique. And i feel foolish for challenging it.

If she were my Sifu, and i her student in a dojo, i would get smacked upside the head for suggesting variations on technique. Lol.

Thanks!

P.S. Very intereting to hear Dave, ~S~

The grounding will manifest variations all of itself, with time. Your DB takes it over to show you things. Blessings!
