A friends dream with a unwelcome visit

Hey everyone,

I have a question regarding a friends dream that I'd very much welcome any insight you might have.

A couple of days ago she had a dream that at it's basis you could interpret as, just being abit lost and unable to get to where she need to go.
However while wandering the corridors trying to get to the third floor, she meets an old boyfriend with whom she has a not so pleasent past with.

It was around 7-8 years ago that they parted ways, but he's been unable to let go of her. A couple of months ago they accidentally met at a bar, she told him she wanted no contact, plain and simple.

A couple of weeks later he pays her a visit at her appartment(she gave him no contact info, what so ever, but a couple of clicks on the net and you'll find out.), ofcourse she doesn't let him in and tells him to, mildly speaking, never to make contact again.

Back to present day, the short meeting with him, in the dream, really just passing by, left a VERY strong impression, the strongest she's everyfelt from a dream. Ofcourse she hasn't had any thoughts about him since around his last visit, so it really comes out of the blue that he'd appear in a dream like that.

The impression and energy around him was so strong that she was nearly about to call him the day after, which would have plenty of ramifications(of which judging from the past includes physical violence) that are just plainly not good. Yet being full awayre of those, you might see how powerfull the encounter was for her to almost make contact. Luckily she was able to stop her self from doing so.

Dreams that have included him before has exclusively been nightmares, which she hasn't had for months.

Where I'm getting at is that there is the possibility that he put him self there, while I know none, I'm sure there are ways of doing so.
While there are, I'm sure, plenty of reasons for him to appear in a dream, we can't really shake the fact that the most probable one is a conscious "attack" from his part, knowing that he knows about and are into that kinda stuff.
Him being a psycopath (or something like that, not good with labels), doesn't make the matter better.

So what I'm asking is what are you're thoughs, and more imporantly what can she do to protect her self?
I gave her the link to the grounding exercise as start...

Thanks for listening,

Namste

Hi Samuel,

I think your spot on with grounding.  If he has strong feelings towards her and is thinking about her all the time surely this will have some kind of astral effect (like masturbating over someone)   This may be stronger due to bonds, links & karma made in previous relationships etc.

In addition to grounding she should perhaps do the house spell and give the whole situation to Goddess.  Ask Goddess to break any ties, have faith.  This is of course only if that is what she wants.  Hope that is a little helpful.

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks you for taking the time, I'll forward your good advice. She's not the one to believe much in Goddess and the such, but I'll try to find a way for her to accomplish the same affect.

You could tell your friend the instructions below to prevent this happening again.  I have had this type of experience before and it is in your friends control to stop it in its tracks.
You simply say before bed (it's good to say it aloud and 3 times or more) "I instruct the part of me that travels, in dream and non-dream sleep, to go to ______for the purpose of _______"  So for example you could instruct that part to go to a place of unconditional love for the purpose of spiritual growth.....or anywhere you want!  You could probably even instruct it NOT to go anywhere near someone like that guy, but i prefer to give a positive instruction and send the traveler someplace safe and happy and warm.  Otherwise you could wind up frequenting all kinds of unpleasant places in your sleep, just because that part of you that travels doesn't know any better.  Hope this is of use!
