Hi Everyone,

X - that's wild - it happened to me once....i remember bragging to myself - 'i can have an orgasm without even moving!'. : )

I put Mystress' grounding animation on my desktop over the weekend...my girls asked me what it was, so on the way to school i went thru it with them. When we were done i asked how they felt and one said 'I don't like to be grounded' me: why not?? she: cause i can't go play. me(still not getting it): sure you can she: no i can't. me (finally): oh - it's not that kind of grounding, it just makes you feel like a tree with roots instead of a leaf in the wind. lol Just like after a couple of years singing Amazing Grace as a bedtime story, the one finally asks: mom, where is the icee? (was blind but now i see).

on another note - i gave up a ton of stuff yesterday. All day long 'Goddess please take this...' just little, inconsequential stuff mainly, but still bugging me. Today - i can really tell the difference in my thoughts about those things i gave up - very distant - as a witness - no more bothers about the little ones. The big ones have more to them, i know, but those 'easy' ones are a great affirmation. Love to all! .....I feel good dadadadadadada like i knew that i would now dadadadadadada....i feeeeeeeel good dadadadadadada. i knew that i would now dadadadadadada...

BTW: I went to a chat room on Yahoo the other day, and beside lurking, I posted irrelevant comments like:

The truth is that I was in a bad mood when I entered the chatroom and the chat itself was depressing (people arguing)...
so, as if to conjure away the depression, I started to post the little smileys...
Soon enough, I really started to laugh alone, in front of the computer...
Have you ever tried to laugh in public, without any apparent reason...?
Predictably, someone noticed me and asked me:
"What's wrong with you, Gnostic_Dreamer?"
"You're happy or what?"
What a keen sense of observation! :-)
Notice that for the "normal" people, being happy is something "wrong".
Let's be abnormal, then... :-D
(try that in a chat room one day.... it's quite fun...)

A few years ago I read about this protest somewhere in India, where 20,000 people surrounded the capital of the province (can't remember what the protest issue was), and laughed for 2 hours. That was their protest method.

I would just loved to have been in that crowd. I bet the energy was amazing.

I'd love to get a copy of that tune. IMO the single most awesome thing the US has ever offered the world is rhythm and blues. Speaking of Otis, did you ever hear Mavis Staples sing 'Sittin on the Dock of the Bay'? I've heard it said that even he liked her version better than his. Not a dancin tune but i sing my heart out when i hear it. : ) If i could do that mp3 thang i'd send it, but don't know how at this point.

Kids are funny.. : ) Never thought of that application of the word "grounded" in this context.. LOL!!

It's on it's way to you. Nope, Never heard Mavis do that. I was raised near Memphis during the whole Stax/Volt time (Otis, Sam$Dave, Booker T and the MGs, Rufus and Carla Thomas, and all the others). That back beat, that slamming the 2/4 is part of my soul.
