Blessings and Light!

I'm new to this board and fairly new to kundalini awakening.  The last year has been very powerful for me.  Allow me to explain...

I've been an alcoholic for 17 years - On and off.  But this past year was so bad that I came close to dying several times.  My partner Dennis had been reading a series of health books by Gabriel Cousens about the raw food lifestyle.  It would help me when I followed the diet but I was still in the same environment with the same friends so it wouldn't stick.  So Dennis applied and got a job at The Tree of Life - The spiritual center headed by Gabriel Cousens.  After we got here I got a volunteer position.  This place literally saved my life.  The city is Patagonia, Arizona.  It's very, very rural in the mountains of Arizona.  It's very, very beautiful with nature all around.  I'm the type of person that has to be around beauty.  In the city the ugliness of it hurt my spirit.

Anyway, being at The Tree helped cure me of my alcoholism.  Between raw food, juice fasting, natural supplemants and living a spiritual lifestyle I am cured.  Not one day at a time - Totally cured.  There is also spirtual instruction - By Gabriel Cousens who is kundalini awakened and enlightened and also ceremonies like the Sweat lodge and Shamanic Shabbat where we do estatic dancing to the Shekhina energy.  The feminine is stressed just as much as the masculine maybe even a little more.  Also everybody loves and helps each other constantly. We live and work by spiritual principles. I love it here and feel very blessed and fortunate to be here.  

About a year ago I began to be able to astral project.  At first I thought I was under attack by dark entities because the energy was so much but I learned how to get past the vibrations into the lower astral plane.  I then got addicted to flying when I was there and just recently have I been able to get past that.  Around the same time I developed RLS really bad.  Looking back with these 2 symptoms and some others I believe I inadvertantly started my kundalini moving with the alcohol.  Since I wasn't on a spiritual path then it wasn't a good idea.  Since stopping drinking I don't conciously astral project very much at all anymore.  I took a chakra test and my 3 lower chakras are underactive.

I am now on a spirtual path and am a spiritual aspirant.  I have gotten little glimpses of Goddess in the mode of kundalini rushes and times when I just feel estatic to the point of being high.  This can last a couple of hours.  I've also felt heat energy while meditating and yoga and can only hope that kundalini awakening will happen to me some day.  I really, really love Goddess and am willing to give up everything to be enlightened.  Whatever it takes.
