Empathy & Divine Beloved

I was reading with great interest the lesson on the power of empathy when I was suddenly taken by a rush of sensual energy that went up my spine and consumed me. I later found myself on my back on the floor making love to, I assumed to be my divine beloved. It was an amazing exerience I will always remember. I wonder what lesson I was to gain from this?  Is there a connection with the powers of empathy?
