Responsibility in Relationships

Hi,

In the lesson on Roleplay & Responsibility it says if you are in a relationship, then examine the power dynamics within it, particularly how much responsibility you take for the happiness and well being of your partner. Can you elaborate on that Mystress? I am unclear as to how much responsibility one should take for the happiness and well-being of one's partner - isn't that ultimately up to them? I mean, I can treat them well and support them but they're the ones who get to choose how they feel. I guess I am not sure how much responsibility one should take for one's partner's happiness, and how to prioritize it with taking responsibility for one's own happiness.
