Relating to Goddess

Goddess was introduced to me upon starting the course and as the lessons have been progressing, Goddess is steadily becoming more real to me. Prior to this, I was accustomed to a male deity and am very familiar with connecting to that, for me its Amitābha Buddha of Immeasurable Radiance, which represents the light. I connect to that in the grounding.

I started out imagining Goddess as the void in a very abstract way, but recently my attention has shifted toward the earth and the fiery crystal in particular and the love/light that is there; Within the context of FST, Goddess is all that is, the void, the fiery crystal, Mother Earth and the Kundalini Shakti.

I would like to know how people relate to Goddess in a more personal way. When you speak to Goddess, are you speaking to the void, the light at the centre of the earth, Kundalini shakti or one of Her archetypal forms? What is it exactly that you imagine?

I’ve been researching archetypal forms of Goddess in different cultures. Goddess Shakti in the east is the closest representation that feels good to me. She is Amma, the Divine Mother of Mercy and also Goddess Kali, the karma hungry Goddess that devours people. Shaktism regards Devi (Goddess) as the Supreme Brahman itself, what Mystress calls the Void.

If you can tell me about how you relate to Goddess and how you see her, it would be very meaningful for me to hear about your experience.

Thank you for your insights.

Dear robink,
Goddess for me is the feeling of unconditional love in my heart that fills me as soon as I move my attention to it. It came with the grounding and I am so grateful for it.

have a wonderful day  :)

PS:It was importand to me that the term I am using to call for Goddess feels right - the 2nd lesson of FST gave me some insights on this.

Hi Robink,
Few post before I think you wrote along with Edward.
That you think, thinking is the problem.
Now you speculate about Godess form or about the infinity of space :)

But this thinking is just letting our monkey mind into things
where in fact it can do more bad than good.
Because it leads to overconcretization of idea, to acomodate the ego.
And by it, it makes the real truth dead. Sometimes we dont avoid it, as it is a habit.

So please be carefull not to add to excercises undue ammount
of overconcretized symbology. Best to focus on the core excercise as is given.

Hi Duu,
Thankyou for pointing this out, your absolutely right, it is Dharma lightning!
It seems my monkey mind had me by the leash. I will be more careful from now on and not overcomplicate the grounding.
Peace be with you,
Robin
