Just wanted to share the beautiful experience I am having at the moment listening to his cd's on 'manifest your destiny'

This person is really connected to what we are doing within this course and discusses the core principle as preparation to the meditation he teachers at the end of his Cd, my heart really expands as I hear his voice.

He talks of Ahh mediation in the morning to create manifestion, by breathing from the root chakra to raise the kundalini to the third eye to manifest what you desire, then let go with the feeling that goddess (or what you have faith in) has it handled.

Here is DattatreyaSivaBaba speaking about it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SGW7lmKLUQ&feature=channel

The meditation you do at night is using the sound Om with a feeling of gratitude, done the same way.

Its well worth a listen to... especially the use of sound in mediation.

...forgot to add, once the energy is at the third eye you project it outwards together with the feeling of the desire you want to manifest, then let go of it (Goddess has it handled)

  Hi Dave:

I like Wayne Dyer, but he is a chi-guy. His methods are not surrender, they are about using magic to get what your ego wants.  I am surprised you did not notice the distinction.

Be careful what you pray for.

     Blessings.

DaveP

Hi Mystress,

Yes, his work is chi/prana based, I actually did notice this but how he explains this Ahh meditation... he talks of surrender, letting go of any outcome you might want, leaving the results to the higher forces. As you said in one of Edward's post... there is nothing wrong in desiring things, but don't get attached or have any expectations of the outcome... which is what he says also and much more on a similar note.

I have been making sure to add... not my will but thine be done. My faith is firmly rooted in goddess... just resonated with it.

Namaste.

Seems you are always looking for a loophole in surrender.  The wiccans do magic to get what they want, and add a little disclaimer after "For the good of all and harm to none."  It is free will based magic and this is the same.  Packaging your wishes into energy and sending it out into the universe.  You are the doer.

I told Edward it is ok to desire things with instructions on how *not* to manifest every creative thought. You are really mis-interpreting what I said to him, turning it to what you want it to mean.

Doing magic to manifest desires is not surrender. Surrendering your desires instead of trying to manifest them, is surrender.

Either you trust Goddess to handle your life, or you still want to be in charge.

Thank you....I am laughing out loud at myself right now.  I realize that at times I struggle with wrapping my head around the obvious.  A group of friends of mine have a study group on Science of Mind...Ernest Holmes.  I have been several times and have liked much of what I've heard.  Then I will get home and feel an inner conflict that I have not been able to understand.  I have held in very high regard the lady that teaches the course and have just chalked it up to she knows better than I.   Well, the last time I went, an example that was used is that we have to state what we require in order to receive it..more clients..more customers...more money etc.  So on the way home I started to make the statement..Goddess, I require....then stopped dead in my tracks....then said Goddess you've got this..you know what I require..amen.  For the first time then, and now reading this I understand the inner conflict with an otherwise seemingly very helpful and interesting course.  Who's in charge?  Thanks...Tammy

Hello Dave P,

upon reading your post and after reading the description I have to say that I am a little skeptical about the quality of this meditation. The reason for my skepticism is that according to my understanding of toning and mantramism, the „ah“-sound is connected to the heart-center and not to the procreative-center. I personally find it a little naive to associate this sound with procreation just because some people might make „ah-sounds“ during intercourse. If you chant the Ah-sound, you will notice that the sound vibrates in the chest. However this doesn't mean that this meditation doesn't work. I am just not sure whether DattatreyaSivaBaba is this high-level Yogi he claims to be. To give you an example: One of the most-chanted mantras in the Hindu-world is a mantra dedicated to Lord Ganesha : Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha. Did you notice the many ah-sounds? This mantra is very often used to ease Karma. The reason for this is that if your heart-center is open and cleared you will manifest all that you need in your life with ease and that is exactly what Mystress is teaching in this course. That is the reason why the heart-chakra in the tantric scriptures is also associated with the mythical wishfullfilling-tree. To use procreative energy for manifesting things is in my opinion a form of sex magick or low magick and no spiritual act. Dave P. I perfectly understand you. Life sometimes kicks us in the butt and we want to have a change and we tend to think that life should be different from what it is. I was at this point once myself and turned to one of my teachers, a south Indian tantric and Hindu Swami for help. Reluctantly he instructed me to do mantra-sadhana using a Lakshmi mantra. As I asked him if I should visualize the outcome or what I wanted, he exclaimed: „No, not at all! Just visualize the goddess! She will handle everything!“ Sounds familiar, hm?  ;) To finish this I wanted to share with you a wonderful statement I recently read in the biography of the Shaktipat-master Dhyanyogi Madhusudandas. As one disciple came to him with serious problems in his personal life and asked him about help, Madhusudandas said: "The kundalini will help you to fullfill all your desires so that you can be free of them."

Best wishes to you.

humm..thats interesting.  Tammy

Hi Marco,

Reflecting on all this, my feelings are of gratitude. I didn’t go looking for this meditation, a friend handed me the Cd’s. With an open heart and willing to try anything, I gave it ago, I really connected to the preparation talk, I say again very similar to the ideas within this course, which if anything strengthened my connection to divinity. I suppose I am in a cross over state at the moment… just spent my first few weeks on my own after the wife and step-daughter left for their new life… just acclimatising to the space that’s around me.

I personally find it a little naive to associate this sound with procreation just because some people might make „ah-sounds“ during intercourse.

Brilliant, really needed that sense of humour, thanks  ;D

Feeling your energy behind your words, I thank you for your knowledge on this subject. I have come to the conclusion that indeed there is nothing to do at all… Goddess has truly got it covered. If I have learnt anytime from this experience it is how important patience is.

I agree with Tam:

"The kundalini will help you to fulfil all your desires so that you can be free of them."

humm... that is interesting.

Nice one.

Cheers Dave

Its true. Things you wished for as a child, desires long forgotten show up to make you laugh with delight, remember and let it go. I dont talk about it in the course because ego would hang onto the expectations which are not surrender... but it is true. When you surrender everything, Goddess gives you back all your hearts desire.

Look at me...  When I was 12 I wished to be Jonathan Livingston Seagull... now I have shiny white wings and I'm teaching all you misfits how to fly higher. :)

This is the last thing I read before going to bed last night and the first thing I thought of when I woke up...has caused much thought..and dreaming in my sleep. The questions I ask myself is what are my desires? What were my desires? How have things changed?  What have I let go of and what do I still hold onto?  Kinda of a mental review of the process over the past 3 years.  Well, pretty much everything has changed and the only real attachment I feel is to my family.   I live in a beautiful home, but if I were to move tomorrow, I could walk away and not look back.  I love my work, but if that changed tomorrow, I could move on.  At one time during this process and sometimes now, I question if all desire..all passion is being removed, which at first feels like depression but then begins to feel like peace.  At one point I went through that whole "I have this wonderful gift and want to save the world syndrome" but now there is no such thought or desire.  Through the process I have lost a brother and a sister which got to the core of my being causing me to expand my consciousness on life, death and beyond.    Key word...I got from you "Let it go"....remember.. and "let it go"  Thanks for generating all of the thoughtful internal review..I have never thought of this process as fullfilling desires, to be free of them.  I guess i have thought more of it as removing them through surrrender in order to be free.  Thanks  Tammy
