Somewhere in the FST-course i found a statement like:

"Kundalini doesn't like slouching" (i.e.: any kind of bent spine)

Of course, it's nuts to do the exercises in the uprightest posture and slouch the rest of life over the desk.

That other example from the article which Pete is referring to us, makes it overclear:

A workaholic woman working like a horse in Her garden(amongst other burdons), then started Kundalini and shit came down...

So i realized, that traditional deskwork can be reduced by standing at the desk: the good old secretaire or teacher's desk.

I have mine integrated into my standalone shelves-system(swedish Ikea, Ivar), doing the writing on the top board.

It's fun working there, it can be extended to include a Pc-keybord and screen as well

Sounds like a great idea!  There's a guy where I work who has back problems, who works at a standing desk, he seems to have more energy than he did before.

I have solved it by removing the armrests of my office chair, so I can sit cross-legged or in any of the yoga/meditation postures that keep my spine erect.  Works wonders!

Removing armrests is another tip which resonnates immediately.
My solution with the chair is that i resist stubbornly to get an usual office chair, instead eyem keeping to a solid dinner chair, with a not too soft upholstery; on next occasion i may put the pc on the High desk as well.
Solves not all problems, just a pinch of faerie dust, smiles;
