Back Pain

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the tea room and this is my first post. I have a couple of questions in regard to awakening the Kundalini.

About a month ago i started doing an Osho meditation to awaken the Kundalini. It involved intense heavy breathing and asking questions, followed by total silence. On my second attempt something certainly happened which seems to match the symptoms of kundalini awakening. I had no control over my body, very intense shakes and convulsions, tears flowing from my eyes, this continued for about 15 minutes, followed by a period of absolute stillness - not a single thought. Although it sounds like it was a distressing experience, It was a relase and i felt on top of the world after.

After this experience, i have tried daily to repeat it again, however i have not had any success yet. Does this mean that my kundalini was just aroused and not fully awakened?? Could it be blocked at a lower Chakra?

I have since stopped that meditation and have just started with the Fire Serpent Tantra.

Another question i have, is that i have had intense chronic lower back pain for the past two and a half years, I have tried everything (chiro, pysio, osteopath, cortisone shots in the back, magnetic bed matress, seen a spine specialist who said that surgury probably wont help), Could awakening the Kundalini affect this or is there just a chance that it could heal from the awakening?

Many Thanks,

reagrds

Hi David,

For myself the process became less and less painful as time went on. A lot of the pain has been transmuted into bliss. I first became aware of K 2 years ago. There was lots of pain then and much less now. On the whole I feel a lot healthier than I used too.

I wouldn't worry to much about K not being fully awakened. I think it is as awakened as it needs to be for you right now.
