I believe that I have had a spontaneous kundalini awakening.  Not full though, as I did not feel fire up the spine as others speak of.  I felt a warm, blissful sensation almost on the verge of orgasm.  I have also been experiencing kriyas.  Seems to be a very slow, easy awakening.  It's been over a week now since my last experience of kriyas.  And now nothing.

Please note that I have had no experience with yoga, kriyas, pranayamas or mudras.  I only know of these things since I have been researching this past couple of weeks.  The kriyas started with arm movements as if I were 'moving energy'.  Each experience evolved into something more elaborate.  Breathing was incorporated with the arm movements as if every movement was in synch. Pranayamas? Then my fingers would take on different positions as well.  Mudras?  The last experience also involved what seemed like some sort of ritualistic dance, where at the end I ended with what I'm told by a friend is a lotus pose (as if in prayer).  I am 7 months pregnant, so I didn't have very good balance, but my body seems to be being very easy on me.  I must admit that I am somewhat disappointed that it seems that everything has come to a standstill.  I'm wondering what's going on.  Sorry, trying to keep this short.

I'm looking forward to taking this class and learning more.  I am also wondering if the Serpent Fire Tummo innitiation would be of help to me, or if this is only for people with extreme awakenings.  I would love to have my third eye open as well.  I feel like I'm in the dark here as I search for answers.  I look forward to hearing of your thoughts on this.  Thank you, Laurie

Hi Laurie!

Welcome to the group, the course and the journey.

: I believe that I have had a spontaneous kundalini awakening.

Kundalini awakenings and journeys are as varied as the people experiencing them. The absence of fire in the spine is an indication of nothing, except of course, the absence of fire in the spine :^)

:  Please note that I have had no experience with yoga, kriyas, pranayamas or mudras.  I only know of these things since I have been researching this past couple of weeks.  The kriyas started with arm movements as if I were 'moving energy'.  Each experience evolved into something more elaborate.  Breathing was incorporated with the arm movements as if every movement was in synch. My awakening came completely out of the blue also, about 3 years ago and everything was completely new to me also so you are not alone in this. It happens to many.

These sound like spontaneous kriyas, mudras and pranayamas for sure. They are clearing blockages, opening nadis (energy meridians) and generating more energy. Mother Shakti knows what she is doing so relax into them. No resistance. If they occur in public ask her not to and set aside some time each day for her to do her work. The dance is beautiful, remember, as with all things in life, the Dance and the Dancer are One, they can never be separated.

Everything only appears to have come to a standstill, once awake Shakti does not stop. She will be ticking over in the background, doing what is needed. The energy does, as with all things, cycle. It has peaks and troughs and can coincide with such things as the moon and astrological events.

Don't know anything about Shakti babies I'm afraid but I'm reliably informed they have a habit of turning into little genius'(genii?).

Probably best not to push things at this early stage, all will happen in its own time as it must but Mystress can best advise you on this.

Nice to meet you....

Hi Laurie

I am new to the group, but not new to K awakening or MAS's teachings.

I felt compelled to respond to your posting.  I gave birth 15 months ago, and following the birth, it seemed that all K activity stopped.  While I was pregnant, Shakti was around in abundance, and I often felt Tom responding to Her presence, as if he was playfully wrestling with Her in my belly.  But when it stopped at birth, I became confused.  I could understand that it wasn't useful for me to go through deep emotional and psychic cleansing when I had a young baby to care for, but I did feel grief at the apparent "loss" of Shakti.

I had a healing session with MAS on Monday who explained that Shakti hadn't gone anywhere, She was merely feeding Tom, my little boy.  She said that children don't produce enough chi to sustain themselves, so mums (and the Divine Mother through the human mother) do this for them in the early years.  When I understood that, I felt calm and content.  The insight really helped me.  Does that help you?

PS I will write a proper introduction to myself a little later when Tom has gone to bed and I have a bit more free time to compose it.

Hi Noco
Thank you for the warm welcome.  It is comforting to be able to talk with people who are going thru this same thing.  I like what you said about the energy having cycles that coincide with the moon & astrological events.  This thought had occured to me and I have been paying more attention to the cycles of the moon & such and how it effects me.

I also agree with what you said about not pushing things.  On one hand, I've had a small taste of what this energy is like, and I want more....Now!  On the other hand, I feel that I should just relax and let Mother Nature take her course, so to speak.  She knows what she's doing better than I do!

Nice meeting you, too!

Hi Lori
Thank you for responding!  Yes, these insights do help me.  Very interesting....Mother always knows best!

I had been wondering how or if what was happeining with my body was effecting my baby. This is my third pregnancy and I'm not sure if I'm just more experienced at it this time around, that I feel more connected with my unborn baby than I did with my first two pregnancies. Or if the connection I feel with her is because of my new insights since my spiritual awakening in January. I've heard of some mom's who were able to communicate telepathically with their unborn or newborn babies.  I'm curious to know if you have had any experiences such as this?

I do feel as if the Shakti has not left me.  I just notice her on a lesser note now.  It was as if she was just letting me know that she was here, making her presense known.  Even though I'm anxious to have things move along more quickly, I realize that I need to just relax & trust that she knows exactly what she is doing.  It's all about Divine timing!

Hi Laurie

: I've heard of some mom's who were able to communicate telepathically with their unborn or newborn babies.  I'm curious to know if you have had any experiences such as this?

- Yes, several.  The most striking was the moment that his soul entered the foetus.  I was doing some energy work with a group, and I was 8 weeks pregnant at the time.  My sacrum began to ache quite a lot, and a friend put his hand behind my back.  He walked away from me, and at six feet away the energy was still as potent as it was when his hand was two inches away.  He told me he saw a boy with dark eyes and said, "God, this kid is going to be psychic."  A couple of hours later I was in the middle of a meditation when I heard a little voice say, "Hello Mummy, my name is Tom, not Tommy, but Tom."  And so, his name is Tom, funnily enough!

:  I do feel as if the Shakti has not left me.  I just notice her on a lesser note now.  It was as if she was just letting me know that she was here, making her presense known.  Even though I'm anxious to have things move along more quickly, I realize that I need to just relax & trust that she knows exactly what she is doing.  It's all about Divine timing!

- That's right.  I must tell you that I am beginning to feel Her pulse through my being again. She turns up most evidently when Tom is tucked up in bed or when he is not with me, for example when I attend weekend course workshops.
