After Images

Since my third eye opened wide, I'm seeing all kinds of after images, so I'd be grateful for some feedback. When I watch the lesson videos, I see a ghosted image of Mystress flying off the screen into my room ad infinitum. When I shut my eyes for the heck of it at the end of a video, I see the Realvideo box and images from it only more colorful and almost cartoon-like for quite a long time.

When I take candle-lit bubble baths each day, I see red shapes with green outlines flying all around the room, starting from the candle flames or the candles themselves. If I close my eyes, I see the shapes, but this way I also see the paths they've taken to get where they are; the paths are generally white. Usually, all but one shape stays active after a short time, a red with green outline oval, and it moves around kind of haphazardly and finally disappears. I have a tendency to flinch my eyes when this stuff happens, and that makes the stuff go away quicker too. Sometimes, a red/green oval will come off a candle flame and develop centipede-like legs and crawl up the wall.

Is this stuff an eye problem or am I seeing something legit?

 It is a transitory effect, your body and physical eyes adjusting to being more sensitive to what used to be non visible light.

 Some of what you are seeing is normal after images, and some of it is 3rd eye stuff, of the life energy of things leaving a retinal impression in your mind. Your eyes have always seen some of this stuff, but your mind filtered it out.

 You may notice that things that have more energy make a longer afterimage, even if they are not actually brighter in luminance or color. The information is not very useful, and it is best to ignore the effect.

 Perceptions change as you ascend in  vibration.
 When I was first learning to "read minds" in High School, those were the first impressions I got.. kind of a retinal afterimage of whatever my focus person was looking at. In some cases it appeared before my eyes, instead of on my inner screen. I would have to interpret what I was seeing by shapes.

  I get that kind of stuff from animals, too... like suddenly seeing what looked like a thermal image profile of a rat before my eyes, and realizing it was my snake telling me she was hungry.

 The world is still the world, but you see it differently. For me, the world is made up of tiny moving rainbow colored specks, and there is no such thing as a straight line, a flat wall or a right angled corner. I used to be a very good judge of corners and angles, drafting and carpentry.. but Goddess took it, and gave me a world that is a little like an Escher painting. Intellectually, I know that in the physical walls really are flat and doorways really are square, but my perceptions from this vibration show me otherwise. The effect is subtle, and I don't notice it most of the time.. accustomed to it. My vision has been like that for a few years, now...

I just don't live in the "normal" world, and I am Ok with that. Living in a magical world has many benefits.  

 Go to an optometrist if you like... but what you are getting is a fairly normal side effect of 3rd eye opening. Seeing the auras of objects as a retinal afterimage is not very useful, but it is transitory.
