Planning a UK trip for june 2013!

I am looking to spend a week in the UK sometime in may or June this year. Martin is my local host for the trip doing the groundwork but his resources are limited. I usually stay with the host and thats not possible with him. I am feeling reluctant to do another weekend intensive while there... the setup and public promo for those events is enormous and I have a lot of other work on my plate.  Its often the individual sessions around the workshop from people who already know me that pay the large part of the trip expenses, but group events are fun.

We have tossed a few different ideas around, part of the purpose of the trip is to give more one-on-one training to the Lineage: Duu, Gustaf and Mari are planning to come for the week, dreamwalker is working on it and I haven't heard from Sigmund.  A few others have expressed an interest in coming to the UK for an event or just a session and to meet me.  Nice. :)  Quite a few students in the UK too, and k list members and personal friends not seen in years.

I am feeling like I want to do something more casual and intimate, like what I thought about for Mexico.  Rent a house for a week with a large meeting room and plan a lot of casual time and individual sessions but also some evening classes and field trips to the local sacred sites. Tempted to book coinciding with the open solstice ritual with the arch druid at stonehenge June 21.

We are looking for a place to rent in or near Glastonbury while still considering whether closer to London or closer to May would be better. Glastonbury is busy with a festival during solstice and a private after hours ritual at stonehenge anytime, holds much appeal.

Its difficult to plan without some idea of how many might be interested to do stuff while I am there. For sure it is cheaper to rent a house for everybody (and some gorgeous manors tweak my fantasies..  would be so fun to play Lady Chatelaine of an English estate for a week! oolala! ) than to rent a hotel suite and let people book their own rooms but more planning is involved.

Cute cottage overlooking the tor, big living room and an acre of garden, sleeps 6 for 700 pounds, larger estate with a meeting hall and two cottages that sleeps 16 for 2200 pounds... if I rent beds without bodies to fill them I take a loss and if I rent too small then are the owners OK with extra bodies in sleeping bags, or tents in the yard?  A mid size place with other accommodations nearby for people who are only visiting for a night or two? Do we need to rent a bus for field trips or would a would a little passenger van with 7 seats be enough? Do we have enough locals with cars to make a convoy? :)

How about a third eye class in the middle of Avebury henge on a sunday afternoon? Third eye training happens outdoors, and starts with giving libations to the fey to feel the response. Give libations to those old stones the response is being knocked on your ass with galloping gigglefits omg its so fun. The need for good weather for outdoor events tends to push the date towards June rather than May.

So tell me your thoughts, lets do this thang. :)

These are really wonderful news!!!  :D

I am looking forward to be there. I would love to have a session with you (if possible and your time permits) and I commit to pay my share of whatever you rent for the whole week (independent of my arrival date or participation).

A 3rd eye class? - perfect!

Thank you so much for doing this.

I would love to attend, but unfortunately I am far away! :)

Sounds great and I'm definitely interested! :) If it's some other weekend than mid-summer I will be able to come. Hope to see you soon!

I'm interested so I'd like to come but let's see if my financial situation allows it.
