knots/blockage and the fire

It's my understanding along the path of kundalini you got knots that will either get pierced or undone.  I believe for sure all my lower knots are gone do to the amount of kundalini power and activity I experience already in those areas all the way up into the chest area in fact I felt this last year that my heart chakra got bigger way bigger.  Does the throat area have a knot?  Cause today I was on the site and then laying down experiencing kundalini activity then drifting in and out of sleep then bam it was like sharp fire or something in the throat area hit real stong, I was like wow that got my attention.  Felt like maybe something got removed maybe it was a blockage or something.
