Grounding

I've come to realize the problem I have in grounding comes from ADD.  I can do the grounding just fine when I'm watching the video, but my mind wanders so much when I'm doing it on my own that what I end with doesn't even remind me of what I started out trying to do.

So my question is:  Is there a mudra or something I could hold that help me in grounding?  I guess hematite would help, maybe lodestone.
