Moon Throat Phenomena?

Hello One and all,

I have been recently experiencing a strange phenomena and I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar or has an idea as to what is occurring here.

About a week and a half ago I noticed that when I raised my fingers to the base of my throat an intense heat would rapidly build and then a wave of hot energy rush up the front of my head giving a brief but pleasant high. It can be repeated over and over. At first the effect was far more intense with the left hand than the right though this effect has almost come into balance.

It also only occurs at night, nothing whatsoever can be felt during the day but starts to build as the sun goes down. I'm guessing it has something to do with the moon cycle as that is when I first noticed it and as the moon has waned so too has the intensity, it is now only mildly warm and less strong.

An interesting phenomena which I have not noticed before. It only happens in the throat and when it was strongest could also be clearly felt when someone else placed their fingers there, though with a less intense effect.

I'm guessing that come the new moon it will have disappeared totally.Any ideas or anything similar?

Hi Noco,

My throat has always been kind of rough. But especially over the past week, it has been even more rough. It feels like there are "chunks" coming off the back of my throat. Kinda nasty sounding. But blissful.

The moon? Don't know!

: I'm guessing that come the new moon it will have disappeared totally.Any ideas or anything similar?

I would imagine that the symptoms won't necessarily disappear, but they will have transmuted and may in some way make way for further growth, if any is needed. But even these cycles can even be illusive. Sometimes pushing them can even be resistful. I think its good to use discernment.

I have found that it is very important to keep a balance. Pain in the lower back, can cause pain in the throat.

For me, every day is a new symptom. Every symptom a blessing! My left hand starting tingling now. Probably need to get off the computer.

I have scoliosis (curvature of the spine).

These are my experiences. I hope you can find some use from them!

 At the end of a Tummo initiation, I ask the Divine Beloved to manage the energy, as It knows best and at a pace you can handle. So it is not surprising to me that you would be moved to do a hand position to clear your throat and third eye blockages. I get stuff like that too... often falling asleep at night with my right hand over my womb and my left under the back of my neck... running energy.

 Energy is often higher and more accessable at night.. I do most of my spiritual writing at night, and definitely feel an increase of energy with the full moon. Being sensitive to moon cycles and the wheel of the year is a typical K. symptom. Being moved to do certain work or meditations on the waxing or full moon is not unusual either.
The intensity will decrease as the blockage it is being directed to, is cleared. Tummo needs karma to burn like firewood!

Yes thank you for this, very interesting, I did indeed wonder if it had something to do with the tummo, it is quite a heat - and quite a hit. On the scale of K phenomena it is pretty tepid but I find its apparent tracking of the moon interesting. I am wondering if it will disappear totally by the new moon and then wax back up again with the yin/left hand becomig mor noticeable as the full moon approaches. Of course the blockage or whatever may be cleared by then.

Actually it occurs to me that perhaps it isn't clearing a blockage but creating one, haha, you know, shut the old fart up :^)

I too wake to unusual hand positions and find the energy runing. Two most common seem to be right hand on the naval or thereabouts and left hand on heart, or both arms crossed over the chest each hand on the opposite shoulder, and in both instances the feet are usually crossed.

The FST course goes well by the way, very interesting and enjoyable.

Yes the picture of bits of the throat falling off does sound rather nasty, glad to hear it is blissful.

Mine to is not an unpleasant experience at all, quite the contrary, just hot with a nice high.

I never gave it much thought, but my hands are since about two years back often so charged with energy, that just have to keep them away from my body most of the time.

Likely I haven't got as much charge, but enough that I am able to notice the transition between night and day.

I've also notice when doing chi kung that the body's bio electric field is for me, much more noticeable at night.

I've been going to sleep with my feet crossed at the ankles recently.  I've never done that before.  Any ideas of what that is about?
