The song says it all

Hi,

Yesterday I heard the song 'Tracy'.  It's an old Top 40 hit by the Cuff Links, I think.  Anyway - it starts out "Tracy when I'm with you, something you do, bounces me off the ceiling...'  It's real upbeat and goes on to sing about how she'll be so happy with him and he'll do everything for her for forever, just don't ever let him go.....

I thought to myself - he must be a high vibe person and Tracy is a vampire!  That's how it feels!  : )  I stepped into the essence of when he wrote the song....yep, that's the t-shirt I've worn so many times before.  lol.  

Thanks for helping me *see* these things more clearly.

I read it, the opposite. A high vibe person is not going to be the one singing about need and addiction. Not going to become a slave to the needs of another, unless there is an even greater need within themselves that is being filled. The singer has projected Goddess onto Tracy... she has become his source, that he needs to feel good about himself. He is willing to trade everything, for whatever he gets from her.

I am not sure you are seeing things more clearly. No matter what vibration this vampire (or not) person in your life is at, Goddess is All. He has appeared to be your teacher. Goddess brought him into your life so you could learn something about yourself, about how you relate to people.

"Learning" is a word I don't like much, but the divine imperative is "Know thyself." Seems you are running away from that, into his stuff, as you see it instead of really taking a long hard look at why you allowed it.

  He is perhaps playing an unconscious control game, but you are playing a conscious one. Wanting to fix him, change him, meddling with his energy when he has not asked for you to be his savior.
  What about changing you? All this stuff around your work, there are a lot of control games, here. You wanting to fix stuff, instead of being at peace with what Is. You have done all this work to try to change the work environment, instead of looking within yourself, at what in you makes you choose to be vulnerable to it. All the vortexes and clearing has not helped, has it? So, if Goddess will not take it, it is because She gave it to you, as a gift. Self knowledge is the silver lining. Why do you give power away in these situations, and then end up with the control games to try to change the external, to get it back?

 I don't usually resist vampires, Carla. Sure, occasionally I will run into someone who is a bottomless pit, in which case I will take my energy back from them so they get discouraged and look elsewhere... hopefully, within themselves.. but more often, I will give them more than they ask, drown them. Scarcity consciousness around energy does not serve me, generosity does.

  I am very generous with my energy, I attract a lof of vampires... but how often do you hear me complain about it? Goddess has it handled. The universe is an abundant place, fear of giving harms me worse than the vampires ever could. They cannot take my energy unless I allow it, and I allow it, because it serves me. What is put out comes back multiplied. Goddess handles the inflow, it is for me to choose the outflow. Where I direct my energy, what I choose to focus on.

  Nobody can feed on me unless Goddess or my Guardian angel allows it, and it is not allowed unless I gave consent, unless I'm going to get something out of it. Karma balancing itself is the way the universe works.

The song expresses the same feelings I was referring to in that %lsquosame old schtuff%rsquo post.
That%rsquos why it resonated.  Like me becoming ungrounded and then thinking and
fantasizing and all that for the time after - I could write a song in that state....it%rsquos like the
manic part of a bipolar disease.  I%rsquove become suspiscious of that feeling:  where I used to
think %lsquoThis is love and healthy for me%rsquo now I think %lsquoThis is ungrounded and not healthy
for me.%rsquo

Yes - this is why I posted.  As far as what I%rsquom to understand - it%rsquos not clear, however, the
feeling is suspect - I%rsquove been thru this before and *not* learned the lesson, so I know I
need to look at it detached to figger it out, intead of fantasize about falling in love - which
is what happens first.

Finding out why losing myself to an Other like this is the big question for me...you%rsquore
right, I%rsquom all over myself about Why?Why does this happen?Who is this person to me
and what is it about?

Hmmm, how do you decide what%rsquos consent?  I know that Goddess is All, but in duality,
when She presents an %ldquoOther%rsquos%rdquo energy that invades %ldquoMy%rdquo space, (Other actiing
consciously or not) is my response somehow not consensual?  I didn%rsquot need to fix or
change him....I just wanted to see.  I thought the clouds were there for me to clear....like
maybe that was part or even all of the purpose of the energy exchange.  Could it be when
I get that feeling that I just need to surrender and send stuff to Goddess as a vessel or
something?  Maybe - maybe not.  I haven%rsquot figured out the purpose, yet.  But I felt
detached.  Not like I was being savior.  Like I was in service to Goddess.

Yea.  It feels like I get caught up in the ego that deals with this stuff.  In duality, the stuff
I want to fix is the stuff I was hired to fix.....so power games happen.  Metaphorically, as I
get more developed in the job, I feel the growing on the inside as well.  I recognize where
Others have issues, and in terms of being fixed, whether or not they will pursue clearing
them doesn%rsquot present itself as my stuff.  Sometimes it gets in the way of getting the job
done, hence the power games.  And sometimes I say something and recognize that it was
Goddess saying what the person needed to hear.  Honestly, the clearings have helped - but
my intent in those have only been in cleansing the leftover stuff, not what%rsquos within the
actual people who are there.

So how do you react?  I reset my fields and set my intent to use only my energy several
times a day.  (I love those clues, btw - incredibly effective)  For awhile I also set the
intent that if someone wishes to use my energy, they will receive Goddess energy in
abundance.  I kindof grew wary of that though - thinking it was invasive and possibly
causing karmic activity w/out consent.  But I got ungrounded a lot less also.  I see the
scarcity issues here.  The question is - can I presume that if an Other (consciously or not)
wants my energy, that Goddess energy coming thru me to them is o.k?  Like - you get
what you play for, but my 4 fields are staying where they are...  : )

I don%rsquot mean to complain, either. I just want to be able to serve Goddess, and I don%rsquot think
my initial reactions to this kind of encounter are correct, given my record.  I%rsquom posting
about it to try to glean some understanding, and focusing on him because he is the bearer
of the gift.
