What would you like to tell potential new members, about FST? New comments form.

I am very uncomfortable with asking for testimonials. It feels like fishing for compliments.

People say nice things to me, about FST all the time but I do not like to say "can I make your compliments public?" A few times someone has misunderstood the intent of the grad essay and made the whole thing sound like a testimonial. Don't want to use those either.

I am making some updates to the public pages of the website and my testimonials page has not been updated since around 2002. They are lovely words but the page itself feels very stale. I want to replace it with something with an immediacy of results. A fresh transparency. I dont want to be middleman, picking and choosing comments, I want a new openness, fresh and immediate.

Whatever I may say about FST from my own perspective as artist, what is most essential is the students experience of it and I wanted a new way for current students to share their thoughts about their experience of FST, with potential new students. A new page that is hands free for me, unfiltered and fresh.

I installed, tested, and deleted 4 different guestbook scripts before finding one that would only allow current students to post to it, and would publish the results on a public page.  Its not a guestbook, its not quite a testimonials page because I dont want to project that expectation on the results. Instead it is titled "FST members share their experience."

The intention of FST is taking personal responsibility for one's own choices- we have to own stuff to be able to surrender it. It starts with the preview pages, continues through the section about it on K teacher. I don't 'sell'  FST in the sense that there is no pressure or sales-type persuasion to join, on the preview pages because of the laws of free will and responsibility would affect how karma flows. I cannot tell someone they "should" or "need to" enroll. That is not my call to make, it is between them and Goddess within them.

No promises are made because legally I am selling entertainment and cannot promise anything but access to the content, for the membership fee. I am under spiritual and legal constraints with how the preview is presented. I just explain what it is, and how it is put together.

Spiritually,  I really want students who are drawn by the will of their own heart to join. People ask if they *should* take FST, we tell them to ask their heart. They have to take responsibility for that decision and if they can, then thats the important first step in trusting their own inner guidance.

The students, do not have these constraints  when it comes to talking about their own experience of the process.  So I am asking you, what would you like to share with potential new members, about your experience of FST?

Doubtless some of you talk to friends about FST, what do you tell them? What would you like to tell prospective new students? What would you have liked to know,  yourself before you joined when you were in their shoes, looking at the preview pages and wondering?  If you could time travel back to your past self in that moment, what would you say?
