The voice of the ego that is a constant tormentor. I can see very clearly now that the ego and the devil is the same thing. Every mention of the devil in traditions I've read has this quality. It knows every excuse, it can find any reason, it is clever, cunning, smart, it knows every trick in the book. It needs but one thing for it's continued existence; I. It needs you to believe in all it's reasons, excuses and tricks.
When I go for my bliss, it will try to sabotage, at every turn, because to this ego, it is annihilation, every single time. It is only conscious, because of you. Without you, it is not ever there.
When I saw this, there was also a message, from the still, small voice within. Not loud, but coming from everywhere at the same time. What it said could be translated to this:
"Anything that doesn't come from this place is a deception. "
Anything. Any voice inside you that does not come from the inner space is a lie, excuse, a deception. The body will not lie. Every fear is a deception. The body will tell you right away. What does the fear feel like? Like this silent, inner space? Everything that does not come from this space is a contraction, a rejection, a separation. Confused? Say, what about the soul or the higher self or the divine beloved, or any other aspect? Don't worry, they are all connected, all in perfect resonance. These aspects all work through and with this silent, inner space, the spiritual heart. The inner guru will not contradict itself. It is whole, complete.
Anything else, is just noise. Any judgement, fear, excuse, reason. All noise. Like radio static. If the mind is in alignment with the inner space, it will not need any reasons, judgements or excuses. It will simply move. If you start fighting the noise, it's not the inner space. It's ego coming back in the back door.
It is an amazing realization, to see that almost everything that goes on in your head is a deception. And turns discernment into something much much more simple.

Yes, "Murphy's law" is daily reality for a lot of people. (If something can go wrong, it will)
It is only more visible, to Kundalites who have had the opposite experience of what it is like to be in the flow, supported by synchronicities that lead to.. Murphy's law doesn't live here anymore.
Part of that, is perceptions. Ego decides what is right or wrong, gets attached and interrupts the flow to have its dramas.

Yup, you cannot outsmart it, or out think it. To try, is to set the fox to guard the chickens... and still expect to have eggs for breakfast?

LOL! Yes. Ego is made of fear, and fights for its own survival with all its skills. It resists, because resistance is its nature... yet, its very belief in its own existence, is illusion.

In the sweden workshop, I said, the outside world will lie to you. People will lie to you, even sometimes when they think they are telling the truth. TV lies, advertising lies, eyes play tricks,... only the heart, will always tell the truth if you are grounded, and it will also tell you when there is deception.
All the sages have told you, only the Self is real, all else is illusion, dreams, maya. The learning though, is experiential. Self Realization, is an experience. Happy for you!

Excellent question. :) Often I find it's the opposite, the heart will ask: "How important is this, really?" And the answer often lies in that question. :D
