Title: Heart Chakra
Post by: Jeremy on Apr 21, 2007, 01:28:22 AM
I watched a very interesting documentary on the heart and how some scientists are now believing it actually stores memory.  It started to be discovered when patients that received heart transplants  got more than they bargained for.  I came across this just after thinking about The Holy grail%hellip what a coincidence.  So I thought I%rsquod post! I never knew that the heart actually generates a much larger bioelectric field than any other part of the body! To hear that scientists are now considering that the heart is intelligent is amazing.

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this link. I am delighted that increasingly, science validates things spirituality has been saying forever.

I was particularly fascinated to see scientific proof of the intuitive properties of the heart... that the heart brain could anticipate the type of picture that came next. Gives a whole new meaning to "follow your heart."

Lovely. I would like to add the link to the heart chakra lesson, but I find video links tend to be ephemeral... working one day and gone the next.

It is amazing. Itzak Bentov wrote a book, "stalking the wild pendulum." I think you can find it online in the public domain.  He explains the kundalini symptoms, especially vibrating and ear ringing as part of the effects of a standing wave set up by the heart beat.

The Grail ritual has specific physiological effects, one of which is the pulse becomes steady at 80 beats per minute... which is the vibration of healing, and of the earths magnetic field.. the life force of the planet. The rhythm of Shiva and Shakti's lovemaking as they manifest creation.

Not being a scientist, it occurs to me to wonder if the power of a standing wave continues to increase the longer it is maintained?

 Blessings...

Again i dare give a little quote by J.Mitchell:

There's a sorrow in his eyes
Like the angel made of tin
What will happen if I try
To place another heart in him

Vyana said in one of his recent posts, what he meant with wings: a metaphoric aspect of the heart and this is so much conformed by the vid.

these were all cases of donors with "wings", people who had been enjoying life above the average.

There has also been a remark, that about 10 % cases of heart transplantation showed such strong effects on the recipient.
This percentage could correspond likely to the percentage of "heart-chakra"- people.

Through understanding the heart we can also understand Joni's quote: She misses the joyful aspect in Her new lover: "there's a sorrow in his eyes", so She ponders ..."To place another heart in him".

Sorrow and fear is obviously not the matter of the heart(in the vid: mountain climber, musician, motorbiker, poet, 'how to enjoy life-knower':beer,paprika...).
There is also a lot of common sense portrayed in the vid, which also pertains to the heart.
(Center, heart of a city, central Chakra; Connectedness to the here and now and the people of it; spiderweb: busy Grandmother Spider; also natural disconnection, endings)

I was repeatedly inclined during the vid, to look at it topsy turvy: body transplanted to the heart :)

Whatsoever, big treasure that vid, thanks Jeremy !

: :   Not being a scientist, it occurs to me to wonder if the power of a standing wave continues to increase the longer it is maintained?

i can tell it by an example: a standing wave, acoustically, is observed as a particular impression of sound in a room:
Imagine a music with long held tones, maybe an organ: wrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :)

then you may sometimes perceive while moving about in the room, that it fades and increases, exactly due to certain positions. Low and loud areas for that tone.

But there is no effect of increase, as You wonder: no increase or decrease on the same spot!

That would pertain rather to resonance, with sometimes increasing to a level to destruction(for instance a glass from a resonant piano key).

Physically i think the standing wave is a result of the original wave and its reflection on the wall, and specific other conditions met: the wavelength together with the distance from the audio-source to the wall: freezing the usual wave-propagation picture to a static one( like the photo taken after throwing a stone into the water
). So, You can also use that photo to heuristically understand acoustical standing waves: the places of mountains for loud, the places of equilibrium for low.
Only that in reality such a "photo" is made by the "appropriate" reflection.

Remembered this just after watching the heart vid, so i guess it's not all rubbish :)

Great video Jeremy!

The part about the physical intuition facilites of the heart really made me cry and laugh at the same time.

Now I know that the heart response is not something I imagine, but that it is a physical phenomena )not that I actually care though...).

Edward :)
