I signed up for this course a few weeks ago, and now I feel that I want to say hello to you - and perhaps get into some Tea Room conversation some time.
About me:
I am 49 years old and living in Europe. Married, no children.
I was born and raised in Holland (amongst other places also in lovely sin city Amsterdam).
For the last 18 years I have been living in Germany, working as a project manager in information technologies and service organization.
English is not my mother tongue so please excuse possible verbal lapses.
I like BDSM (being submissive, I guess), like most of you here somehow, I believe.
And I like Yoga, mysticism, spiritual growth and also lots of other things, like music, "savoir vivre", literature etc.
One day (one very very special day, resp. night, Samhain, maybe I will tell you an other time) I was searching the internet to see if there were any sites that combined Yoga (Tantra) and BDSM. And then I found the family of fireserpent sites.
I did a lot of reading on the fireserpent site-family and felt very heavily impressed by the Grounding-Exercise, especially accompanied by an exercise concerning the "heart chakra" and listening to the "still voice" inside (yes, on the "free" fst-pages). I tried it out, intensively, and it literally brought tears to my eyes. I was strongly moved by emotions, by almost forgotten, overwhelming feelings of love.
Since I am a sceptic, I did not want to sign up for the course right away.
I decided to try out the recommendation to practise grounding for 45 days 8 times a day.
I did so, and after the 45 days, I took the decision to embark on the course.
I signed up and after a few days I was welcomed to the member site.
That day/night it was full moon here in Germany, what coincidence, wow!
Now I have studied some lessons, and today I have come to lesson 6, which to my surprise was already well known to me: grounding exercise!
Since (coincidence??) today/tonight we have new moon here, I thought that this is the right time to say hello to you all!
So here I am

looking forward to whatever is going to come

reading your introducing yourself, I did see you live in Germany. So do I. It´s nice to see that I´m not the only one being not so familiar with the English language.
