Title: Music to my ears :)
Post by: Mohammed on May 17, 2006, 01:49:20 PM
Namaste Angelique...heloo again . :)

I just finished reading the essay lesson "Kundalini Psychosis" . I must say it was music to my ears ...sigh ... a lovely essay , I enjoyed it sooo much . Thank you .

I am familiar with Joseph Cambell. Infact I became an instant fan almost an year back or more, when my brother downloaded his 6 parts interview with Bill Moyers called "Joseph Cambell and The Power of Myth with Bill Moyers" . After I watched the interview I loved it soo much I bough the original set from amazon.com and I still watch it from time time . I do recommend group members to watch his interviews, it can be downloaded from emule for free. God bless the internet :) .

I basically wanted to comment about the part you mention "follow your bliss " , which is an emphasis of Jospeh Cambell and this FST course as well, it is an idea a hypnotherapist I know emphasised on , but she only phrased it differently, by asking me, "what are you passionate about ? " . It was a difficult question to answer for certain , but I could say playing basketball, getting high, whether its through food, watching a romantic movie, if am lucky get into a nice alternate state, etc. I think follow your bliss basically means to do things that give us pleasure and makes us feal good. It all comes down to pleasure, doesnt it Angelique?  But a talent, or being execeptionally good at something....I still havent discovered what that is for me ....but its something that has been on my mind for an year almost .

*shrug* . One more thing I like to say is that to follow ones bliss is definately a luxury not all people have . Few people I think actually end up discovering what they are passionate about and actually pursue it .

:) . Wanted to share that.... *smiles* . Thanks for listening .
