Title: Puppies and such
Post by: Kimberly on Feb 22, 2006, 01:58:06 PM
Hi all!

I have a question that might seem totally strange, but it has occurred to me several times over the last few months and I can't seem to come to a conclusion about it on my own, so I thought I'd ask here and see if anybody here has any insights.

The question thats been roaming around in my head is about babies and what sort of things might be done for them in regards to helping them create protective energy fields around themselves before they are really able to do this for themselves.

Can a mother help her child with this sort of thing, or does that violate Goddess's law about free will?

...

On a somewhat similar note, Gustaf and I are going to be getting a new puppy on Friday (Yay!!) and I'm also wondering if there might be some spiritual/energy things that we should think about or do to help make the transfer from her busy, puppy-filled home with her birth mommy, to our calmer, two person, one cat home easier for her.

Do animals need us to help them with things like energy fields or do they have that covered on their own? lol I never really thought about it before.

Babies and puppies depend on the life energy of parents to survive! Some of the free will laws are bent when it comes to motherhood and offspring.

 Blessings!

When we got the puppy she was crying and whining with anxiety and would not settle, she was nearly screaming.  When we drove off, I held her gently in my lap, and we sang "Om Namah Shivaya" as a very gentle warm kirtan song throughout the entire car ride. After 5 minutes she started to relax, after 10 she was asleep. When she woke up again, she was relaxed, rested, curious and very affectionate!

When we put her in the kennel we built right next to Kimberly's bed, she started crying real loud again. We laid next to it and sang the same song again. A few minutes later she sighed a bit and relaxed... And was relaxed throughout the whole night. :)

Our puppy is now officially bonded to the eternal peace of Shiva. :D
