The Tea Room

I've been working very hard on grounding, and it seems to have been paying off.  I've been very calm recently.  In fact, my mother and father stopped by to visit Sunday, and my mother commented on how good I look.  She said I look "placid."  (She likes to play Scrabble.)

Anyway, this morning the real test came.  It was pay day for my wife yesterday, and after paying bills there was only 12 dollars left.  My pay day is tomorrow, and I have about half of my usual hours.

When my wife told me this, I was very surprised at how little I reacted.  It was very odd, and I spent about a half and hour trying to work myself into a frenzy about it.  It didn't work.  I did get nervous, but I did the grounding exercise again.  Now I have no concerns about our situation. God/dess --The Universe-- will provide.
