Anyone agree with this?

Even the idea of controlling the K process sends around strong warning flares in my solar plexus.
What is it that you want to control, and who is controlling it? I've tried to control my process on and off and it only leads to tension. Manage the mind a little bit, sure, assist in breaking the emotional patterns, definitely. I'd prefer to call that "assisting" the process rather than controlling it
Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. In my eyes, forgiveness is a powerful form of surrender. If you can forgive yourself for something you've done in the past or forgive someone who did something to you, it's being surrendered right there and then. Magic in its own right. After all when we don't forgive, what do we do? We HOLD a grudge, keeping the pattern in place.
: Someone told me that if I wanted to control the process all that I would have to do is accept new emotions with love, and simple forgivingness towards old patterns of behaviour.

"Listen.. just stop resisting yourself. I am here cuz I don't want you to move a brain muscle while trying to cleanup yourself. I can do it for you." (no Shakti has never said this to me.. just exagerating)
I think that controlling K is a little like controlling electricity. We can send it through wires, generate lots of it, but electricity is bound by its own set of laws out of the control of humans.
When we surrender, it does what it wants, when we try and control it, it does what it wants anyways. I don't think Kundalini is an "it" that can be controlled. But listen more about what he meant.
I think there is something missing in what the person wanted to communicate.
I think that he was saying that the ways in which we resist are caused by not accepting new emotions and not forgiving old patterns of behaviour. If we can do these two things he says this is how we can ascend.

To me this is a statement of surrender.. it is saying to me: if you accept new emotions with love.. and anchor yourself in forgiveness you are no longer "out of control" :)
But we all percieve differently. I did not get triggered or sense any contradiction in this statement.. the words are true.. but if one have control issues this word will be charged with ones own illusions and activate these patterns within.. and we are no longer talking about the statement but control in general *s* I am a very powerful man and i could not "control" this power.. and nobody can. kundalini is freedom unfolding.. or the force of no limits, if you limit it it is no longer kundalini.. and yet it is of course *S*
So i agree :)

Scott, I agree 100% about resistance in not accepting new emotions and not forgiving old patterns.
