The grounding, as you have discovered, evolves for you as you do it. I rarely do the whole thing, unless I am teaching it. I just think "grounded" and the tingling in my feet increases. I am hardly ever ungrounded...
Stop being so precious about having perfect peace and quiet. Do the grounding anytime, anywhere, at the speed of thought. The more you do it, the quicker your body is trained to respond to your intent.
The later phase of grounding, as you may have read from Gustaf's posts, you observe what ungrounds you, and surrender it so you can get grounded again.
Being grounded is meant to become a permanent state for you, so however you can find a way to integrate it into your day is goodness.
: After the grounding exercise I feel as if electrified with pranic voltage in my whole body (se my earlier posts Grounding %ndash experience changing). This voltage appears when I first reach out to the crystal and the sun. Now, as I have had some problems finding a quiet place to do the entire grounding exercise, I have found that I can accomplish the same result just by reaching out with my awareness first in the direction of my feet and then in the direction of my head (I can do in lying down as well as sitting or standing). Is this a proper way to get grounded? Or are the images and the moving of prana important parts of the grounding exercise too (apart from that they help to accomplish the same result)?
