I thought about you and this post today, Barbara.  I like to turn off all the lights and free form dance when i can....
I had several years of dizzy spells bothering me - to the point where i could barely ride in a car unless i was driving, and created a huge fear of being dizzy as well - *thinking* i was getting dizzy was almost as bad as it actually happening.  But when i started getting this urge to dance, (it's been about 4 years ago) the urge to spin was there also.  'Who, ME? NO WAY'.  But it was one of those face your fears things, which i did, and started spinning like a dead head.  First one way and then back the other.  Now when i dance i spin whichever way the energy takes me, it's even a little difficult trying to go the other way when this happens. You may be onto something!  :)

Peace,
carla

Hiya,

Have not been here for some time as I am busy with jobs and girls (matching agency) and am reflecting
on what is happening. From both there are 2 choices to be made. I finally figured out what the reflection is.

Anyway, I have been reading all the posts and was caught on the dervishes one.

I sometimes use a active meditation from Osho (one can buy the CD, i think it is called No DImensions) and in
it a wind meditation followed by a derwish meditation. SPining around
your axis as fast as you dare.
The way to do it is keeping your hand before your face, preferably the hand your are spinning to. And
focussing on it during the turning. It is a great focus thing (loose focus and you loose balance) AND it is ideally
for centering and grounding (counterclockwise) or levitating (lol!) clockwise..

(And, as is typical with his meditation, stop and enter the silence...)

Hope it is helpful.

By the way is love the atmosphere here and some you I have met more closely.
Love you!!

Jasper
