Has anyone ever trie dto convert depressed emotions into useful energy through meditation?

Hello, friend, may be a good way to convert depression is to offer it to the Divine?
Also the following helps may be:
Not to get into the excuse why you feel depressed. I mean usually we are depressed because such or such reason. Not to engage in the because part of the story. To just look at the feeling without putting a judgement into it (ie bad feeling...)just look at it fully open oneself to it as we open ourself to a child running towards us. Then the feeling is experienced as what it really is : a flow of energy, a flow of Bliss.
Also did you notice : we always say :"I am depressed". There are 2 parts on the sentence...I am, and depressed. Usually everyone puts the weigth on the second part... depressed, joyfull, hungry... What if the emphasis goes on the first part? I am. This is where my attention is. The rest is just a colour...
