From what you are saying, it sounds like she was already awakened. That you got a shiver up your spine when you met her and that she was already connected to the heart voice indicates she may be more awakened than you!
I would suggest that you not be trying to grant shaktipat until your own process is much farther along.

: Hmmm, it's been quite a week for me. Not feeling energy running all over the place or anything, but I met someone about a week ago. The first time I saw her I got this big shiver right up my spine. A day later I mentioned hypnotism to her, and she jumped right up, "Hypnotise me!" This kinda startled me, cause most people are very closed, like, that doesn't work. That won't work on me... you know. Well two nights ago I geuss I helped awaken her Kundalini. I have just recently gone through the lesson on awakening your third eye. She mentioned (I forget exactly how all this came up) a voice that she talks to. I asked if it's always right, like it knows best, and she said yeah. Bells went off inside me of your inner voice... well I ended up talking her through opening her chakras and I tapped the center of her forehead. She said it felt like fireworks and could see a light inside her head, and still there when she opened her eyes. She also said that it moved and danced around, which I found interesting. Anyway, is that kinda like a way that Kundalini shapes our lifes? She might not have ever found out about it, (she comes from a very strict catholic family (nothing against catholics)) but her dad always ignored the little voice subject, so she basically has told no one before. Anyway, I tol dher not to be afraid, and told her how life might be different, how it takes its course and it's better to not fight it. Anyway, she said it was the most beautiful thing she ever felt.
