Title: A Little Nothing
Post by: Barg on Sep 28, 2000, 03:58:05 PM
Have been working hard on the grounding exercises. As I said yesterday, feeling a little more, I think. Never quite sure if I'm talking myself into something or feeling it. Mystress, I'm a hardass case, skeptic galore and fear too. But I AM trying.

Did a lot of them (grounding exercises) yesterday, all over town. Have been concentrating on heart chakra, trying to open it. Have been fretting a bit about a few impending bills and other stuff. Tried to surrender to Goddess, just did groundings and asked for her will and maybe a little of mine to be done. Like 90% her and 10% me, but I guess 100% of her is really 100% of me, if all is one.

But I digress.

At 9:30pm, this boss from my past called me, desperate to have someone come typeset overnight. He offered me $100 an hour to come in. I went in, and at 7:30am, he handed me $1,000 cash. I'm home now, totally wiped, but that so drove the wolves from my sweet door. Then, I'm coming home on the subway, switching from the No 1 train uptown to the L train across town, have to walk thru this white tiled tunnel at around 8:45am, not quite rush hour crunch, but the early people ghosting through the underground, and in the midst of this white-tiled tunnel is this sax player playing to a soft tape on a beat box and he's playing to it, and he has the most beautiful tone, like liquid sound, I kept thinking if Billie Holiday's voice was a sax, it'd sound like that . . . don't know what key he played in, but something about me was receptive and open, and the music just filled me with pleasure. Smiling. I felt that music ooze through every pore. It was so delicious.

Don't you just love experiential poetry in the early morning?

Don't worry about it. For now, it doesn't matter if you feel it or imagine it.. it's the same thing. Your imagination is the control panel of your energy body.
Don't be afraid to use the grounding animation to support your visualization. Just watch it and let it run through a few times, not trying to keep up with the speed, but rather letting your body follow at it's own pace as you focus on the changing images.

Yep, that's how it works. Beautiful. You are getting the hang of surrender. You give your fears up to Goddess and She handles it. The more you do it, the easier it gets.. every leap of faith is practice for the next one. Never more than you can handle.

Way kewl. Music is so evocative..
I recorded a bit of the Olympic closing ceremonies. My favorite is a montage of winners set to the song "Another spin around the sun". So beautiful.. happy people who have just gotten their dream fulfilled and the lyrics
"It's so good to be alive..
it's so good to breathe the air.
feel the sun, strong against your face.
A speck of light in the universe,
a little piece of love in everyone."
Radiant!
