Title: Strong kriyas after kicking entity out, what now?
Post by: Althea on Feb 20, 2020, 06:21:27 AM
When I recently did the ritual to throw out entities of my heart chakra, I felt a strong surge of energy up my neck and head. After that, every time I get even a little relaxed or try to meditate I get a really strong kriya which closely resembles a shudder - my shoulders tenses up and are drawn up and my neck shakes a bit. Unfortunately this makes it very hard to focus during the grounding visualisation described in na earlier lesson! Any tips on how to deal with this? What does I mean?
(I had really strong kriyas for the first 6 months of the kundalini process, but then it calmed down a lot - until now!)

An additional question - can entities cause seemingly spontaneous body movement such as kriyas/mudras/bandhas, or can only Goddess do that?

Much love,

Hey, Althea.  I know what you're going through.  Sounds like your kundalini  wants to go through something.

When that happens to me, I do some gentle yoga stretches and twists and sometimes just laying flat on my back on the floor helps align things.

I also go to my chiropractor when yoga seems to only help temporarily.  If you don't have any physical constraints, conditions or limitations which that would make things worse, I suggest that.

   Love and blessings

Hello Althea,
Kriyas, mudras, bandhas are all different Sanskrit terms that is commonly used in yoga.
Students do NOT need to learn Sanskrit for doing FST lessons.
I am providing some explanation just as an FYI here.
Roughly translated, kriya means action/movement, mudra means sign/symbol, and bandha means knot/restriction.
I say roughly translated because Sanskrit words, like Latin and most ancient languages, can only be made sense of in context and each word can be interpreted in multiple ways depending on context of use.

When Kundalini fire rises, it cleanses our body, mind, and spirit.
Stuff comes up so that we can surrender them consciously to Goddess.
Just like our brain holds memories, our body does too.
In this context, kriyas are involuntary movements that happen because something needs release while things are getting sorted.
Body releases what is not needed anymore through kriyas.
I call it 'Cat yoga' - have you seen a cat stretch?
Simply be in the moment, listen to your body, and do what feels good.
I am a certified Hatha yoga instructor. There is much value in having a disciplined routine for practice.
But sometimes when you feel like you need to stretch because your body tells you to do so - that's Cat yoga!
It feels so good that I sometimes purr... lol

Kriyas are just involuntary movements - body sorting itself as vibration rises.
And Kundalini is a evolutionary process which means the growth is never done.
Nothing to be alarmed about even though tensed body can be very unpleasant.
When you notice tension in any part of your body, simply observe your breath without making judgments.
Tensed shoulder sounds like anticipation and anxiety. Give it to Goddess.
You can do some gentle stretches or go get a massage like Sigmund has suggested.
Take a nice long hot bath, get a good pillow, and watch your posture when you work (move often).

Namaste!
