All the forums on my VPS are getting these error messages: that the forum cannot connect to its database. I think these errors are why the tearoom has been unusually quiet, even quieter than usual in summer. People are losing work and getting frustrated. Sorry about that.
The solution being sought. The recent move to a new server was messy, I am still squashing bugs two months later.
In the meantime... and, well always... the internet is flaky at times.
When posting to tearoom, always a good idea to Select all>copy before hitting the post button just in case it borks, you have a copy of what you wrote. I often write responses in an external text editor so nothing times out on me.
