8 sideways is a lemniscate, the symbol for infinity. Goddess.

Domin 8 rex. Rex is latin for king. She rules over all.

Thank you all for your words of welcome.
I see all your messages right now. Sorry for replying so late, but I have been missing this August due to familiar matters.
I am really glad to be back and I am eager to learn and share with you this great path.
I think it would be great to introduce myself a little bit, but maybe tomorrow.  Now is too late here.
Thanks everyone.

Hello everyone!

In this post I would like to introduce myself to the community. Sorry for my English, it is not my tongue language so I make some mistakes and I have some problems expressing my thoughts and feelings.

When I was 12 a teacher of mine from a catholic school started to explain us about God, the meaning of life and the origins of the Universe. Now I understand that he wanted to change our young minds and our believing system, but it was the starting point of my spiritual path.

Since then I read a lot about spirituality, self help, psychology, magick, yoga and so on. I did not get a deep understanding because I was not practising the teachings, but it was a relief for my rational mind that could not find proper answers.

Later, during my university period, I made a lot of meditative experiments of all kinds, some of them with drugs. One of my best experiences (without drugs) was the opening of my heart charkra (maybe it was not, but it is the best way to describe it). There are no words to describe the experience, I have never felt such love since then. It was then when I realized that the spiritual realm was real, that there was something beyond our material existence and beyond the rational mind (my second great relief). However, I was doing everything almost  by myself and I got scared a lot of times. After having some peak experiences I realized that my spiritual practices were not compatible with my material life, so I decided to let it die as a hobby.

However, I was aware deep inside myself that spirituality was really important to me, but I just didn't want to acknoledge it. So I created a lot of excuses in order not to practise: my girlfriend, my family, my job,... Now I understand that the fire that started when I was a child is getting bigger and bigger and I can no longer to deny what is evident. It is very hard to be in peace if I am not in tune with my spiritual part. That is why I have decided to quit my old job and start a new living with new priorities and principles.

Of course I feel scared and lonely right now, but I know this is a big change in my life and I have to go slowly. My worst enemies are my deep fears towards spirituality (I know it sounds contradictory, but my atracction for spirituality is full of love-fear emotions) and my lack of self discipline (it is worse when I practise alone, that is the reason I have joined a community).

From a practical point of view, I did not find good teachers/masters in my area (that does not mean that they don't exist). So I have decided to find some good online community, with good mentors and good practices. So far my intuition has brought to several places:

- Kundalini Teacher: Fire Serpent Tantra
- KAP: Kundalini Awakening System
- Some Chi kung masters: Dan Ferrera, Chunyi Lin and Michael Lomax.

What I feel different from Kteacher is the huge amount of energy that emanates just from the website. I don't know why but the energy from this picture is really strong (http://www.fire-serpent.com/tantra/). Her writings are writen in a simple way and with a lot of great humor, and I feel them resonate deeply inside myself. That is the main reason why I have decided to join the community and start practising.

I am really pleased to join you.

Thank you all.
