I once read somewhere that kundalini tends to make the p-body too yin. This makes some sense since K is considered primarily an earth energy and the earth is yin (according to Chinese cosmology). What confuses me is that coolness is normally associated with yin and heat with yang. Kundalini tends to be a very fiery (yang) energy?
I'm trying to figure this out since my p-body is currently very yin and need bring more yang energy into the system. I've tried the grounding meditation and easily connect to centre of the earth, body feels like a furnace after about a minute, base of the spine and feet scorched. It feels like I'm connecting too strongly and drawing in too much earth energy and finding that a bit unbalancing for the p-body.
I tend to not feel sky energy very easily and am getting the feeling that it would be better for me to focus on the downward flow of sky (yang) energy through the front channel and draw out the excess yin energy from the feet, as opposed to drawing in more earth energy through the feet? I would be interested to hear other peoples thoughts on this...
Hi,
Just surrender. Surrender also your beliefs of what is happening, and how you should manipulate the events. Fiery kundalini burns old karma away and it's effective. I have burned so much that your ass burning is nothing to worry about yet.
If it gets very uncomfortable, imagine yourself merging with the iceberg. Breathe ice blue to get the blue snake awake and balanced too. To me the snakes look fine tho. Drink lots and lots of water when burning and do some physical excercise. Focus on surrender and peace. Put the fire and emotions coming up into some form of creative work, art therapy. Burning does get smaller in time, and your body gets used to higher vibration. Take it easy with the FST lessons, cuz they are all loaded with Shakti. Keep your crown open, stay grounded and release the overload as needed.
Surrender your old beliefs and see what comes back, also the belief that says Goddess cannot create blissful life to you, referring to one of your previous posts.
It's all good :)
in flames,
Mari
Hi Marie,
Surrender is a work in progress, thanks for that pointing out that aspect of my experience.
Whenever I think I am making progress in surrender, something always shows up to teach me new ways in which I have not surrendered, sigh. I’m planning to just do the practice in whatever way feels most natural, so the heat is on.
I’m still curious about the yin/yang chi, in relation to Earth/sky and K though…It’s a hobby of my brain to want to understand and figure everything out using myself as the experiment. It’s fascinating, but not necessarily always a virtue.
Peace be with you.
Robin

That reminds me of myself. ;D
Welcome, Robink!
Perhaps the yin/yang chi has more to do with the ida/pingala meridian lines? Do they use the chi or the shakti? left/right side of the bodies energies, feminine and masculine? The shakti is the energy that seems so go between those two, in the centre, the sushumna channel. Is it seperating, or unifying them? lol:P Questions... Some confusion seems to be good though, to reach an answer... But the answers differ and even contradicts themselves from each chakra universe too:P lol...
Thoughts... If chi gets to stale/cold and thus becomes a blockage, hot, firey shakti can heat it up again so the system can function normallly again...
I get more earth energy than sky energy I think. But this seems to be in my favour. Too much sky energy for me and I loose touch with the feeling of unconditional love from the shakti... The sky energy to me, feels more like a cool breeze that simply energizes. No other feeling to it, just chi. But my Beloved handles the amount and flow of each energies according to my needs anyway, so no need to worry about that... Usually I'm on such a high level that I don't use breath to get chi, it simply flows... No effort :)
If the earth energy/shakti is the energy of all that is, then it must also be chi? Maybe Goddess provides chi, to give a free-will option? Like with a top down awakening, where only the chi is used, or when someone works with the chi/prana for healing etc like reiki, in a free will choice, instead of the kundalini shakti in a divine surrender choice....
Sorry for rambling, I'm just thinking :)
I have also observed that when I am well grounded, and am to sing something, and there's a blockage, I just think, "here's something" and it's gone... Nah, that's not right... I don't think I just refer to somehow lol :P I believe this is the power of shakti...:P
Personally I think most of TCM is a steaming load of hoo haa...
"I once read somewhere that kundalini tends to make the p-body too yin. "
Check that with your discernment.
"I'm trying to figure this out since my p-body is currently very yin and need bring more yang energy into the system."
Why do you think so? Are you growing breasts? You are integrating with the DB, which is female. Let Her have Her way with you and don't worry.
Thanks for clarifying Mystress; it helps me to surrender…
Its funny, I had my sisters over the other day and they were commenting on how ‘soft and subtle’ my body was. That’s probably a good way to describe it. Lol! :D I’m not growing breasts or anything like that!
I was contemplating doing some weight training to balance this out, but had a dream the other week about me driving my car and there being a lady in the back seat who leant over and whispered in my ear: “leave your muscles aloneâ€. It’s strange that I would get a message that directly about this. I guess that means to surrender…I’m planning to start doing some light stretching every morning and leave it at that for the time being…
Things work better when She is in the drivers seat and you are along for the ride...
Eagerly working on that, I’m tired of driving; feel that I’ve gone as far as I can go with me as the driver…I formally offer goddess the wheel and step aside, I want to be passenger! I surrender the wheel to her. I want to be empty now…empty vessel, no knowledge, no opinions, no striving; she can do with me as she wills, she can do nothing too. It’s all good! I’m happy :)
Capitalizing references to Goddess and the Divine Beloved is good mindfulness discipline.
